“Big fan of having our own Dollar General in town. It's nice to have a place you can stop in and grab what you need without paying a fortune, or having to go across the river. I also love the fact that they're open until 10, because it's always after everything else closes that you realize you don't have enough milk for breakfast in the morning :)Staff is super friendly, and the manager obviously takes a lot of pride in her store. I've been to other branches where you can barely walk through the aisles, but they work really hard to keep the floors clear at this one.Overall, just a really favorable impression of the store and its employees.”

“Tuesdays at the Iron Mountain Dollar Tree are a whirlwind of activity. With the arrival of their shipment, the staff is fully occupied with restocking the shelves. I approached an employee to inquire about obtaining an empty box, explaining that I needed to ship an oddly shaped item to my son in Arizona. I thought I’d browse the aisles to find a suitable one myself. Shortly after, Sam, the employee I’d spoken to, noticed my unsuccessful search. Pausing her work, she asked what size I required. I told her I needed a box approximately 24 inches long, 12 inches deep, and 4 inches tall. What happened next caught me completely off guard! She asked me to wait, then disappeared into the backroom. I could hear her rummaging through stacks of full boxes. Moments later, she emerged with the ideal box in hand! It must have taken considerable effort to sift through all those unopened packages just to help me—an ordinary customer—find exactly what I needed. I was astonished that she went out of her way, especially with piles of inventory still waiting to be unpacked. Despite the workload at her feet, she took the time to assist me, and I’m at a loss for words to express how much I valued her kindness. Sam, you’re incredible! Thank you so much!
