Rayma was an outstanding associate…answered all of our questions, was very friendly and professional. We purchased the chairs and tables last Thursday and took delivery at noon yesterday. Delivery men (Brandon was the lead) were also accommodating, friendly and professional. The delivery tracking system is awesome. The whole process was seamless and stress-free.

I had a fantastic experience at Gardner White, and Zain made it even better. He took the time to understand my preferences and guided me to my ideal couch. Not only did he make the selection process seamless, but he also provided exceptional customer service. Zain's knowledge and attentiveness left me with confidence in my choice. Carl helped us with a mattress purchase and did an excellent job! Carl explained all of the mattresses very thoroughly and answered all of our questions to make our final decision easy! We will go to Gardner-White in the future with no hesitation! Thanks Carl!

My whole experience was terrible. When I first entered the store, some guy approached me like a used car salesman. He wouldn’t leave me alone, until he found out, I wanted one of the less expensive mattresses ,so he pawned me off to someone else. The second salesman was polite. He was trying to steer me into going into a higher price point, which I understand. That’s his job, He said my selection was “for a guest room”. Unfortunately, my budget was what it was, but it made me feel rushed, wanting me to open a charge, wanted me to buy a warranty . I just wanted out of there. Fast-forward to my delivery….. they told me I was going to be the first stop. I ended up being the last stop, so I have three guys coming in my house at 9 at night. They were pleasant, but they didn’t wipe their feet. It has been snowing outside and they’re tracking stuff in my house because they didn’t use the sidewalk, went through the grass. I go to lay on my bed and my bed is so short my sheets are too big for the mattress. I originally was going to get a regular foundation, but the salesman said 99% people get low profile. I completely do not like my purchase but because I didn’t buy an extended warranty, I’m stuck. I have had my bed for less than 12 hours and they said there’s nothing they can do. $700 spent and I don’t like my bed. The whole experience was awful.

12/1/23 I am a first time customer with a Gardner White, and I am not pleased with the service that I have received. Today I received my first delivery and my furniture is damaged. I was told that a furniture Tech cannot come out for another week to even take a look at the furniture. One of my items is on back order, and I was not given this information before my delivery was set up. Poor communication all together. The customer service went out the window once my name was signed on the dotted lines. This whole experience has been a nightmare.

I never write reviews but I had to for this. I am livid. To start off, customer service was eh. The guy originally helping me seemed impatient and pushed me off to another guy. The next guy convinced me to get a medium firm mattress even though I really wanted a soft one. Due to my previous one, I didn’t want to be near anything with the word firm in it; my mistake for letting him change my mind. Came in for a $500 mattress, left spending $800. I didn’t want to spend that much to begin with so when asked if I wanted to spend an extra $100 for a mattress cover I denied the offer. Fast forward to delivery, the guy walks straight in like “where’s it going”, dirty boots and all. It had just snowed and I have CARPET. Didn’t bother bringing shoe covers or offering to take his shoes off, neither did the other guy. I’m a vulnerable female alone at home with two strangers so at the time I just kept my mouth shut. I waited on the couch until they finished. The bed gets installed, they leave. They left zip ties and packing on the floor. At first I didn’t notice because once again I have carpet and I wear slippers inside, but they dropped HUNDREDS of tiny little clear balls from who knows what and rushed out before I noticed. I’ve been going back and vacuuming, picking them up by hand for DAYS! They also drug in a piece of metal from outside and it pricked the hell out of my foot! Back the bed itself, it’s like a freaking rock it’s so firm my back KILLS me. I’ve called Gardner White multiple times, tried the very next day after delivery to exchange it for the soft one that I really wanted. Guess what? There’s nothing I can do because I didn’t spend the extra hundred dollars for a mattress cover! I bought my own but apparently it has to be THEIRS! So now I’ve had to spend even more money on a mattress topper so that I can sleep in my BRAND NEW $800 mattress comfortably AND I’m still finding little tiny beads in my carpet! If my dog gets a hold of one there’s gonna be problems. Moral of the story I told my mom to make sure she doesn’t get her mattress from there and I will never purchase from them again. Go somewhere else and don’t let the salesman convince you to get something you don’t really want or you just might be stuck with it! I attached a picture of some beads I’m still finding in my carpet.

I have to say I worked with the office manager at the Novi branch. And she was wonderful. I had a true problem and paid 25% for returned purchases that I feel were defected Jill was my sales representative. She did not have time for me and told me that when I came in on Friday the day after Thanksgiving. Because she was too busy I was a paying customer and she did not want to bother with me. The office manager is truly an asset to Gardner white . I hope she’s paid well. She handles everything in a professional way. And truly help me. She is an asset to Gardner White

Ms. Brooks is an excellent sales executive! I appreciated her initial approach. Very jovial, friendly, with an inviting smile. She gave my options to work with. She was very considerate in showing me different items I wanted to view. She was extremely detailed with explaining the durability of the furniture I selected. Although she had other customers waiting, I never felt rushed in making my decision. Thank you,Ms. Brooks! Happy Holidays!

First time we bought furniture from Gardner White and the best experience from purchasing to delivery. Khabir, our Sales Consultant was professional, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and very patient. He provided outstanding customer service. The delivery process was unbelievable. We received a text and an email the night before delivery providing a three hour time window for delivery. The next morning we received a text and then a call with the time of delivery from the driver. The delivery team was outstanding. We will continue to shop at Gardner White Novi as our experience was the best ever!!!

poor customer service. received my delivery they put it together but did not install the screws In all the planks. they missed every other one. the so call office manager was very rude when I asked her to explain my receipt. bottom line last time I would ever buy from gardner white. so enjoy the last dollar you will ever see from me. thank you very much

In the market for a recliner plus 2 new side chairs for our living room. Had the absolute pleasure to meet and work with Pat, she was awesome! She was attentive yet not on top of us. She offered information on the product line that helped us make our purchase decision. We will return for a future purchase and Pat will be our salesperson of choice. P.S. love our recliner, great sales price. Free next day delivery to the door, they arrived as scheduled and the 2 contracted delivery gentlemen were also great. We’re former Art Van customers, Gardner White is a new experience for us. Very pleased.

Went to three furniture stores looking for “grown up” bedroom furniture for my 18 year old son. This is the only store where we weren’t followed around the store the whole time. I understand that these people work on commission and that they really want to make the sale. But it’s super annoying to try to check out the furniture and have a conversation with your child about what they like while being stalked the whole time. Here, Willy introduced himself and then let us do our thing. He checked back in and answered questions when we had them. He was helpful when I had no idea where to even start when it came to choosing a mattress. Would go back if I had anymore need for furniture.

Absolutely love the mattress I bought. Your salesmen were so nice and helpful. When I explained the problems I was having, my salesman whowas so patient with me, being I'm 76 yrs young, and having a lot of back problems, the mattress he recommended was just the thing I needed for my back. I am now sleeping thru the night thanks to him.

The level of service and professionalism at this store is bar none! The store is clean, well kept and nicely displayed. Our salesman was extremely knowledgeable about the products, services and offers that the store was running at the time. He took the time to allow my wife and I to look about, try out and ask questions without being pushy or judgmental when we wanted to look at something else. They were able to hook us up with a new bedroom set that is great quality and in our price range! I’d recommend this location to anyone! If you happen to go, make sure to ask for Patrick B., you won’t be disappointed! Thanks Gardner White!
