I really hate the tax process. I'm always left with confusion and anxiety. However, I had the pleasure of working with Whitney yesterday. She made the process easy and enjoyable. She explained everything to me in simple terms, gave me lots of insight as to how I should proceed in the future. Whitney was authentically warm and personable. I felt she had my best interests at heart. This was such a lovely surprise, as my local service I used for years were not friendly at all, very robotic. I never felt comfortable asking questions becase the few times I did, the response made me feel ashamed for asking. Thanks to Whitney for showing me this isn't something to hate and dread. I will see you next year!

It took over 2 months to file my tax return. Multiple tax professionals did not respond or update me and it took multiple calls to get any sort of update. They are very unprofessional and don’t seem to know how to work their own online portal. If you do go with them do not do it virtually.
My third person waited until the day of (April 15th) to do my return.
Not worth the price. The day before, after no response from the tax person, I called and they said they do recommend filing an extension and that they do it ,mind you for $99, why am I paying you money because you didn’t file my taxes in time?? Does not make sense and is sketchy and money hungry.

I often do my taxes with H&R block but I’m new to the area and I came to this location based on reviews/ratings online. Had an appointment and dropped off my documents on a Monday. Called on Tuesday to follow up, was told will get a call back as the advisor is with a client. Called Wednesday, same. Called Thursday, the advisor gave me a call back, asked me for my name and said she will call me back… didn’t happen. Had to go back and just withdraw my documents. They didn’t seem to care much, or try to rectify the problem. Ah well…will try my luck with another company that is more eager for my business

By far the worst service I've ever experienced. They dropped the ball on my return and then demanded I come sign documents, in a very rude and condescending manor. That was Jodie. As for the preparation by Christopher, he forgot to file my Detroit return. I sat and waited for him to correct it, he told me to finish it online. Thier web portal would t except ANY of my information. Let me say this again, DO NOT CALL ME

They refuse to answer any questions when you call the office. Woman who answered the phone was short with me said no one there is able to answer a simple question regarding a W2 and immediately gave the 800 number. To clarfiy I AM using H&R Block to file my taxes. No point in an office that can't help answer filing or document questions.

Overall very inefficient from start to end. It is very difficult to reach someone if there are issues or problems. I will give Mary 100 stars for helping after hours thank you so much Mary.

Phone appointment scheduled. Wasted 40 mins waiting. Called office several times, told by some central dispatch they would be calling me… no call still. Finally received a call. The preparer had no clue about documents uploaded, was only mildly apologetic for missing that it was a phone appointment. Phone call disconnected (seemingly on their end) and didn’t receive a call back. Wasted about an hour of my time with zero benefit. Do not recommend.

Excellent knowledge. My Tax Pro had all the answers and I loved their "digital dropoff" option that meant I never needed to come into the office. I submitted my tax documents online and did a video chat with my Tax Professional to review the results. SO EASY!! I feel good knowing my taxes are done right. And if a mistake ever happens, I have coverage through their Peace of Mind program.This is the best tax experience I've ever had. Can't wait to come back next year! Who else can say that about their taxes?!
