I ordered an online pick up order for items that all showed in stock. I picked up 1/4 of my order that week. The rest of my order has been and is still being shipped to Joann (Novi) in pieces over the past few weeks. I never ordered delivery or for anything to be shipped. Everything showed “in stock” at the Novi location.With each delivery the status says “ship to home” and they’re charging my credit card! It’s NOT. It’s being delivered to the Novi store and they’re fraudulently charging me and keeping my order.I called the Novi store and it just rings and rings after the first automated message. I called customer service and was on the phone over an hour and a half with no results. I emailed, with no results! Ridiculous!It’s fraud and against the law! Talk about a corrupt company. I’ll be taking action and will go longer be a shopping there. This is absolutely insane.First of all, how does a store receive shipments they clearly didn’t order then just keep them? Corrupt!Secondly, how do you charge a person when they’re not in possession of any of the merchandise and argue by saying it’s being “shipped to home” when clearly it’s going to Joann. Learn to use Google and see the address it’s going to is their own store not a residential address in a completely different city!

Reasonable fabric selection. Minimal apolstry fabric. Little store help. Minimal register help. Unique items though and great sales.

I have shopped at Jo-Ann's for decades. There was a time when the stores were wonderful. Sales staff were enthusiastic, pleasant, knowledgeable and interested in your sewing project. Six or seven decades layer after many changes that's gone. Novi store is dingey. Sales staff couldn't care less about anything. I placed an order for a bolt , 8 yards of fabric. I expected it to be on a bolt board. When I picked up my order, it was crammed and scrunched into a small bag. When I freed it from its confines it looked like a wadded mess. Whoever filled my order ... enough said. Pictures are worth a thousand words.

OUTSTANDING is the best description of my customer service experience with KAREN M! She made a last minute shopping trip a most positive one. Her friendly conversation made me feel like the only customer in line. This time of year can be stressful and hectic. Having to deal with the public can be BRUTAL. Karen M is the type of employee I wish I could have the pleasure of dealing with every time I go shopping. She is a true asset to your company! Thank again, Karen M!

Horrible customer service. I bought some things for Christmas. They threw them in a bag. They’re all scratched when I asked them or something was they pointed to somewhere over there no one knew what they were talking about not one pleasant person was in that store I like to write positive things, but I went there three times and I had a bad experience each time. Don’t waste your time there at least at the Novi location. Save yourself one time and go to Michael’s there much nicer there and they actually know if they’re talking about and they treat their customers with respect.

Friendly, but wasted the last of my free time by selling me without warning me about their EXTENDED lead-time, and then suggested i drive 40 minutes to another location who might have better lead-time. Huge waste of my little free time, and I'm really upset I won't get it back.

I always enjoy going to look at the crafts that I'll never be able to do ? it always gets me in a manic state where I believe I can do anything. Either way, this Joann's was large and open, the shelves were clean and the person we asked for help was very kind. Go visit this place for an exciting visit!

I have shopped at Joann fabrics for many years. Lately I have noticed the Novi, MI store is looking extremely dirty and the choice of home decor fabrics is also not as good. Maybe this is due to a change of management or ownership. More and more I reframe from shopping at Joann stores now.

I needed half meter fabric. I told fabric cutter, she told me didn't know meter unpolitely and insolent. I think such people should not be sales employee Her job is to be helpful. I can't stand such rude people. My complaints are not over yet.Date: 2/19/2023Joann Fabric Novi

The cashier or sales associate named Annie is seriously the nicest lady. She makes me feel so welcome and I always go with my special needs brother and she is so nice to him!!
