Had my fuel pump replaced here. They fixed the pump but my fuel gauge was not working after. I ran out of gas driving to work due to the faulty gas gauge. I never had an issue with the fuel gauge until I brought my car here. The manager Brad told me that they did not replace the fuel sending unit when replacing the fuel pump and used the existing fuel sending unit, meaning they handled the part and now it is broken. Brad took no accountability for damaging my fuel sending unit and tried to charge me $600 to repair a part that they broke. Brad claims that they did not damage the sending unit and that the part gave out over time. Really? A part that your team handled stops working after replacing the part it’s attached to and you’re going to tell me that the part just so happened to wear out at the same time?
I bought the fuel sending unit myself. Sure enough when I opened the tank I found my fuel sending unit broken, floating in my gas tank.
Zero accountability or integrity. Take your car somewhere else.

I went for an oil change for my Lexus GX and thought these guys did an excellent job. Next time when I went to change the oil at a different place, they showed me the sticker and told me that wrong oil was used. Instead of 5W-30, they used 0W-20. Doing a quick google research, I found that "using a thinner oil like 0W-20 when your car requires 5W-30 could potentially lead to inadequate engine protection due to its lower viscosity" and also "will affect fuel economy and engine efficiency". Will never go this place again.

We had a challenging experience with the shop. My husband took our car in about three weeks ago because of an engine light issue. The initial diagnostic test didn’t show any problems, but soon after, the car shut off again. We brought it back, and Ray was very helpful in running another diagnostic test. This time, an external coolant leak was found, and we were charged over $1,000 for repairs.
However, just two weeks after the repair, the car failed again. The mechanics then found a new coolant leak into the engine, which has left the car nearly unusable. We now have to consider selling the car for scrap.
We’re disappointed that the additional leak wasn't detected before we spent another $1,000 on repairs. Had we known about the other issue, we might have chosen to buy a new vehicle instead, which we are now forced to do anyways. We feel that a more thorough diagnostic process might have identified the additional problem earlier, especially since the initial issue was related to coolant leakage causing the car to shut off.

I had my brakes installed a couple of months ago, which were installed incorrectly. I recently noticed that my original lug nuts were replaced with older ones. I'm not sure if they were broken off or not. My dipstick for the transmission was missing after an oil change I received there. I had high hopes, but I am reconsidering never going back to this business.

The facility is clean and air conditioned. Customer service person(Ray) was polite and answered all my questions. Ray arranged a Uber Lift ride for me at no charge when the service would take longer than expected. My car service was completed as promised the next day. I would recommend this Midas store to others.

Ray was great over the phone and and helpful in person. Josh was knowledgable and showed us the exhaust and muffler that was disconnected and informed us on what the fix would be. Got the part and they did the job and we were in and out. Great service all in all.

Excellent Service at Midas on 12 Mile
recently visited Midas on 12 Mile for some car maintenance, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. A special shout-out to Corey, who was the epitome of professionalism and customer service. Not only was Corey attentive and thorough in explaining the process, but he also ensured that the work on my car. was completed on time.
