This is the only location that I will ever go to. I have a diesel vehicle and Pep Boys is one of the only oil change facilities that carries the oil my truck takes. After having a bad experience at the Farmington location, I was reluctant to give Pep Boys another try. I called this location to inquire about setting an appointment. After finding out that I was leaving another location due to a bad experience, Noah assured me that he would have a tech available immediately. When I arrived, he greeted me by name, answered all of my questions and immediately had a tech begin working as promised. My truck was done sooner than expected and Noah even gave my 1 year old son a toy car to keep him occupied while we finished up some paperwork. All in all, most oil change places are the same, great customers service makes ALL the difference. Because of Noah, this location has a loyal customer.

Scheduled an oil change/tire rotation (lots of appointments available, very easy to book). My brakes were squealing and I asked them to look into the possible issue there as well. They performed the work quickly and did a high level inspection, getting me back on the road just a few hours later. They even offered me a coupon for the work. Staff was friendly and answered all my questions clearly. Can’t wait to return for the next time I need service!

what a great experience! I looked online at the website for services offered. Very nice website, easy to maneuver and understand. I called the store to discuss further. I talked to Alex who was polite, professional, and friendly. he went out if his way to help me. I took the car in, everything went good. I was impressed with the crew there that I dealt with: Alex, Noah, and Derek was the mechanic and did a great job. I will definitely go back for more work when I need it. Posting an update to the review and the rating.Everyone including the manager was very courteous. I was contacted by the manager again after picking up the vehicle and once again reassured nothing is wrong with the brakes. So far things are working well so I am now satisfied with the work.Initial Review:I took my vehicle in for work on my brakes. Initially when I took the vehicle home it seemed like my brakes were working much better. Then just two days later while I was driving the vehicle uphill and had to stop at a red light I began rolling backwards even though I was pressing the brake pedal. I dropped off my vehicle to be looked at in the morning because they were closed, and the associate left a note for the manager to contact me first thing in the morning. The manager contacted me a few hours after they had opened, and stated that they did not find anything wrong with my brakes. I eventually went to pick the vehicle up by noon and once again the brakes seem to be working good.I felt like it was important to update the review to explain that eventually I did get contacted by the manager and get additional services completed. The check in for my initial visit was smooth and the staff seemed courteous. I basically felt like I had a good experience until what I experienced a couple of days later. If I had been communicated with earlier in the day when I brought the car back that may have changed my overall view on what happened. I was really upset because of the fact that I had to miss work and I could not give a real estimate of how long things were going to take to my boss because no one had contacted me first thing in the morning.Considering the high cost of the services and the fact that just a couple of days later I had to bring the vehicle back, I definitely felt like communicating with me early in the morning should have been more of a priority.

Popped a tire when we drove from Chicago to Detroit for a lions game. They were quick and were not pushy when we told them we knew we needed more work done on it, which is rare at any auto shop. Thank you again.

I booked an online appointment for wheel alignment and tire rotation. When I went to drop off my car the front desk said that they can’t do wheel alignment because they don’t have enough technicians and they won’t be able to do this kind of service and asked me to come back later. I had a confirmed appointment !!! Poor customer service.

Don't go to this mechanic. They inspected my suspension on my SUV and gave me a quote for new struts. Then, when I brought the vehicle in for the repair, they told me they had quoted the wrong parts. Can't trust them. Won't go back.

Absolute Crooks!!! Tried to take me for $1500 on a $350 brake job. Do not come here- don't have your car towed here. Their mechanic put stains on my interior. My only regret was that I didn't get a copy of the estimate post on the internet for laughs.

Recently needed my brakes done, and had 10/10 service at Pep Boys! The staff is kind, knowledgeable and helpful. Appointment was easily booked online and many times were available to fit scheduling needs. My car was serviced both quickly and efficiently at as low cost to me as possible given the work needed. I would definitely trust any future needs to this Pep Boys location!

Pep Boys on Novi Road in Northville is a great place to get fixed what is wrong with your car. Nikki behind the counter makes you feel at home and has a smile on her face and a warm greeting for all. I use them for all car repairs, and would not hesitate to send a friend their way.

Scheduling was alright. Check-in process ok. Oil change done at double the cost compared to last time for the same synthetic oil with no clear explanation why charged me double this time except saying that it may be by mistake. Initially check-in person said it will be $ 98 then applying discount coupon should have been $ 78 still almost 50% higher than last time.

The starter died when another service was scheduled. They ordered the part and took care of it the same day at a reasonable cost...plus super efficient Nikki is at the front desk.
