Dana is absolutely wonderful! My daughter and I both go to her for our hair and she always has us looking fabulous when we leave. I always get a lot of compliments on my hair. She does a wonderful job on my color. My hair is growing wonderfully too. Come to Ulta and ask for Dana.

Cutie did an amazing job with my hair and makeup! She listened to exactly what I wanted and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the process. The look turned out even better than I imagined; elegant, flawless, and long-lasting. I got so many compliments, and I’ll definitely be coming back to her for future events. Highly recommend her services!

These ratings need to be separated from Ulta Hair vs Ulta beauty.
My experience with Ulta Beauty Novi is almost always bad, IDT they pay their managers competitively, so it never seems theyre people oriented!
FYI: there is a salesperson that is smart/nice: short maybe Philippine with dark hair.
The black manager there is nasty. She just seemed to WANT to escalate my situation, even when she knew I was already agitated and in a hurry.
And, this is why Sephora is eating Ulta's lunch.

Ultra Novi is where you will find QT. I saw her makeup ability previously on a relative and I wondered what she could do for me. She is like a painter with a brush on a canvas. I give her all the credit for the multitudes of compliments I received at my 50th wedding anniversary party. I was told that I looked like I went into a time machine and came out looking 20 years younger. Yes, I HIGHLY recommend her.

My stylist was very nice and the haircut was decent. I did not; however, realize a trim would entail taking off roughly five inches of my hair when I mentioned I’m trying to grow it out. Now I’m back at square one. I know I had some dead ends but that seemed excessive to me. Of course she asked me if I was happy at the end but what do you say when your hair has already been cut off? Also, $57 for a trim is horrendous. I booked another appointment at check out because I felt uncomfortable saying no. I cancelled it as soon as I returned to my car. Will not return.

Went in for one product and came out with a few new things. But don't worry! Ulta does not have a hounding sales team, they have very knowledgeable beauty experts that will help you with all your beauty questions.

I’m very disappointed with the service I received at this Ulta Salon. I had an appointment scheduled, but my stylist showed up 30 minutes late, and that’s being generous because another stylist had to step in and wash my hair just to get things moving. There was no apology or explanation for the delay.
On top of that, I was upcharged for a blowout without ever being told it would cost extra. When I asked at checkout why the total was higher than expected, my stylist claimed she had informed me of the charge. That was completely untrue. I was shocked that the manager immediately sided with the stylist, even though I clearly explained that I had not been told about any upcharge.
They offered me a discount, and I assumed they were going to comp the charge. Instead, it was just five dollars off, which felt like a weak attempt to smooth over what was honestly a frustrating and disappointing experience.
What bothered me most was the dishonesty and dismissive attitude from both the stylist and the manager. I’ve been coming to Ulta for salon services and have never had an issue until now. This visit was my last at this location and makes me consider if I should come again.

I have been going to see Irina for about 5 years. She is very thorough and you can tell she takes pride in doing a great job. She is a genuinely nice person and goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. She’s great!

First, I don't shop at Ulta often at all for this reason and after today I never will.
I just came into the Novi location to purchase a travel size Kenra hair spray.
At checkout they want you to enter your phone # for their points system. I don't have an account and just wanted to buy it and be on my way. Here comes the questions: let's sign you up. When you say no thank you, well do you know anyone with a account, no..here comes the pressure and bullying tactics..well you can't return it, even if its damage, you're missing out. I say, can I just buy it? she then ask me why I don't want to start one? I say again I just don't want to. This Mia girl then proceeds to inform met that they sell Kenra products at Walmart. Why does Ulta implement these terrible practices. Sephora doesn't do that. Why can't spending my money there be enough, without giving you my information. Never again and shame on Ulta.

I purchased 4 products from this ultra. One of which was defective and had no replacements that were usable. The mascara I purchased was dry the first day and is literally rock solid on day 6. I am done with Ulta. Every product I’ve gotten from ultra in the last year has had issues. Don’t shop here. Just go
To Sephora. Very disappointed

Got a haircut. I paid for a deep conditioning. Not sure if I got one. And if I did it was a quick condition. Yeah I realized this after I got back home and left a good tip. The person who cut my hair did not give any recommendations as well. Even after I mentioned I have really dry hair. Will not come back here.
