Jase Wainiana had an attitude as soon as we walked in for a return. He accused my friend of lying about the item he bought as a gift being damaged. We didn’t take the accusation lightly and we decided to take the return to another location. He was threatening to fight us after he gets off his shift and the situation escalated into us getting kicked out of the mall. Jase is a terrible representative of Zales. He should’ve processed our return without any issue. I bought multiple pieces from this Zales in the past and the experience was never like this. I would recommend firing him and finding a better replacement.

went in here to fix a bracelet that was sold to me from this place, the hole was tight and squeezed in more than it should be, the worker jase wainiana was the guy we talked to and he is super unprofessional and does not know how to handle a situation properly and have no social skills in dealing with a problem. the guy called me a liar and said that i’m the one who messed up the bracelet, he said to wait till after 8 so he can fight me lol who ever is in charge of that place needs to know that guy has to go

The internal system that makes it so you do I have to physically be carrying your card is a huge problem there it's something they're able to do but even with all information and the customer support on the other line they weren't able to find would even customer support was giving them a direct number for as far as an account number or anything that was available for me to make a purchase and know this was not one of those situations where it was a privacy thing their system just literally could not find it.Other than that selections minimal definitely go online customer service was not as friendly as they were back a couple years ago just now to get experience unfortunately hope to see better from this place going forward.

Service here is fine, but half the time I've come here for my semi-annual ring inspection, they weren't open despite the posted hours online/at the physical store said they would be. If your hours are different than advertised, please update so I can plan accordingly.

Came in to exchange a wedding ring set and upgrade for a larger diamond ring. We were clearly looking to buy and had to lean over chairs to see what rings were available. Neither rep asked if we wanted to see the rings, or bothered to come over and educate us on the various styles. Apparently you can only exchange your diamond rings for a ring in the store and not for online credit(what if you do not like whats on display?) Which we only liked maybe 3 of them. They do not purchase precious metals either, I stack PAMP bullionThat's ok, I dropped 6k with another retailer who was interested in helping us.

If I could give this a zero I would! Don't buy online! I have been wanting a couple ring for many many years so my husband purchased a couples ring from Zales for Christmst week in December. Ring didn't show up til 4 or 5 days after Christmas! When he tried to reach someone they told him he had to do it all online. Online they have you TEXT! He got nowhere! When it arrived the boxes was broken and smashed. My 1st ring from Zales was an horrible experience. W 23 days after having thisr is a stone missing now! Nothing sof it if it was set correctly! I'm so upset about the whole experience starting from Christmas day when it wasn't under my tree.

This location is holding onto my husbands money. My husband is owed a refund for over $4K. It had been weeks and he still hasn’t received a refund. Called the 1-800 number the store manager gave us to inquire about the refund status, didn’t get anywhere with them as they referred us back to the manager of the location that he purchased the jewelry. Representative from the 1-800 customer service stated that they only deal with online purchase issues. Very very incompetent staff that need some extensive retraining. The whole experience with Zales has been dreadful. Wish I could give zero stars.

The staff at this location took the time to help me resolve an issue with a product I had purchased from Zales online. I found them to be more helpful than the actual Zales customer support. Zales phone support was absolutely horrible but the Novi store was extremely friendly and resolved my issue within 10 minutes. THANKS!

Experienced poor customer service from a young lady at this location, she was very rude and had no idea what she was doing. We went to the Fairlane, Dearborn location and she had us in and out in 10mins with no issues.
