We've parked our RV here since 2012 with no problem and great service until recently. In Nov 2023, our catalytic converter was stolen along with several others, yet management NEVER notified us of the theft and refused to provide adequate security (not just cameras) in spite of the numerous burglaries at their Oak Park location. StorageSense has continually increased its fees without increasing their services or security. A simple covered (not enclosed) parking space is almost $200 per month, without electricity. We have since moved from this convenient location to a more secure and less expensive facility.

I am now moved into a smaller home that is almost twice the rent I paid before. I therefore consolidated my storage from a large to a medium. My customer service rep charged me $20.00 to hold the smaller rental unit. He was new; we found out later that I could have just swapped, but my deposit did hold the unit for me for two weeks until I was ready to move out of the old one.
Update: I’m downgrading my former evaluation. I am still using the smaller storage unit, but under new management (or owners), my rent now is almost the same rent I paid for the twice-as-large former unit I’d rented. I’m disappointed and have resolved to dispose of the contents as soon as I can. It’s time anyway.

Customer service was great. The unit was a perfect fit for what I needed. My only complaint is the MICE!! I have mouse droppings all over my things and they even chewed through a few of my boxes. When I emptied the unit there was a dead mouse inside.
