About Walk in the Park Coin Laundry
Walk in the Park Coin Laundry has been proudly serving Oak Park for over fourteen years. The facility is clean, with washers and dryers that are in good shape and work properly—no coins getting stuck, and water temperatures are what you set them at. Large load washers accommodate king-size comforters, and dryers dry clothes quickly. Customers appreciate the clean restroom for customers, free coffee, and a TV that plays good movies. A drop off laundry service starts at $2.75 per pound with a $15.00 minimum payment due at time of drop off. The staff is very nice, respectful, and friendly. The laundromat also holds a monthly lottery; one customer verified it is real after winning a first place prize of $50. While some note it could be cleaner and wish it had coffee, others find it a nice and cozy spot with baskets and chairs to sit in. Snack and drink machines, a change machine, and detergent for purchase are available. Overall, it is a recommended place for washing, drying, and folding needs.
