One of the worst daycares I've ever seen. The management is very weak and unorganized. There is no consistency in the class schedule and every week you see new teachers. My daughter went there for only 6 weeks, but I believe it was one of the toughest 6 weeks for her.

Highly do not recommend. For one you will hardly every see the same employees there for longer than weeks. I’ve you have an issue they are responsive and tell you what you want to hear but will not actually do anything about it. High price for low quality.

As an old co-worker I would NOT recommend this place to any parent or anyone that’s looking for a job, it’s not worth it. Management is lazy, rude, and will do anything to not be in rooms with the children. We were usually always out of ratio and again management wouldn’t step in to help out, they would move kids in rooms they don’t belong in so that they didn’t have to stay in a room. The pay definitely wasn’t worth the stuff we have to put up with on a daily basis. The company only cares about money, not the parents and management would enroll more kids knowing we don’t have the staff to be doing that but again, it’s only about the money. Tutor Time of Okemos also has had three positive cases of COVID because management doesn’t follow safety precautions when we have a positive case because they’re constantly changing rules to be in our favor. The only plus side is that we’re always open on the weekdays no matter what the weather is like!

I cannot say enough good things about Tutor Time Okemos. My son initially had Ms. Liza and Ms. Alison and then Ms. Mary and Ms. Mai and they are all WONDERFUL. It was the first time my son was in daycare and they made it super easy and comfortable for all of us this transition, specially in such a hard year such as 2020 has been. Every time my son was sad they would be kind to him and try to cheer him up, send us messages through the app asking how could they help him feel better, they understood and respected that at home we do not speak English with him in order to preserve our culture and they even tried to speak some words in Spanish to make him more comfortable while in their care. My son NEVER came home upset, dirty or looking like he was not taken care of. Quite the opposite, he always came home happy, excited, telling us about his day and things he learned.Their app is amazing. It makes it very easy for us to communicate with the teachers throughout the day and vice versa. It updates parents on exactly everything that is happing during the day, how much kids ate, when they went potty, the activities and as a bonus they send super cute photos of the kids during play time.Management is really good as well and does a great job answering all questions fast. Thank you Ms. Angela and Ms. Melissa for that.Meals are well balanced and kids love it.

I was a stay at home mom for 7 years and when I started working outside of the home again, I wanted only the best for my kids. Tutor Time in Okemos provides that "home away from home" atmosphere while maintaining the routine and curriculum of a typical school day. Their rules and regulations are clearly outlined, but the staff is accommodating and makes time for each child. The teachers and administrators also take time to update my child's "Precious Status" which is an app that allows me to receive updates (for my child only) on their daily sleeping patterns, eating, activities, and pictures. They make my life as a single working mom a whole lot easier.

My daughter is 2 and she loves going to daycare here. They keep the kids busy with crafts, songs, stories, and outside time. Her teachers come up with creative projects and are very caring and attentive. When I pick her up she is excited to see me, but she usually wants to stay and finish her snack! She's not in a hurry to come home.

My daughter actually chose this place out of several that we visited when she was 3. She had quietly left the other schools that we visited but as we were leaving our Tutor Time tour she said "I want to come back here!” I enrolled her immediately, and she's been there for four years now. What I loved most was the clear enthusiasm of the directors and staff. The fact that even the preschool, preppers and pre-k classrooms had a curriculum was appealing and they offered a private kindergarten class that allowed her to start kindergarten before she was technically old enough to attend in the public school. Once she finished their kindergarten I got to decide whether to have her do public school kindergarten or first grade. After several meeting with school officials, it was determined that she was more than ready for first grade, which was what she wanted to do. She just finished second grade and is doing great! She goes to Tutor Time in the morning and they bus her to school and pick her up after school. They help her with her homework too.She goes to Tutor Time full time in the summer for their summer camp program. They students get to go on two field trips each week to places like the planetarium, the veterinary school at the university and the children's science museum. She's really happy there and I can relax and work knowing that she is in good hands all year round.

I just recently moved to Michigan from Texas and was in a hurry to find a good daycare. The staff and teachers are so friendly and my daughter loves it here. Best decision I made was to place her in Tutor Time!

This is the place I recommend to my friends who want to find one great daycare. My son has been here since 2014 summer and now he just graduated from junior kindergarten program. I love that they offer various additional activities such as dance or soccer because those activities can be great excercises and experiences for kids. Also I could see that my son learned lots of things in his class from numbers and alphabets to social skills. The staffs working there are not only friendly and warm but also professional.

We love TutorTime! Our kids have been going there for almost 7 years. It has been an amazing experience for our entire family. The staff is friendly, helpful and have taught our kids so much. When our kids started elementary school, our new school was blown away with how advanced our kids were and how much they had learned at TutorTime. I especially have to say thanks for Ms. Morgan for the awesome Kindergarten curriculum. We are grateful every day for what this center has done for us. 100% recommend!!
