Attendant was on break and all pumps were off. Probably a 10 min wait before pump even worked.

The M 64 Truck Stop saved our trip! On our last day exploring the Porcupine Mountain State Park, we pulled off along Lake Superior for lunch. When we started up again, we noted our tire light was on and our left front tire was very low! We decided to risk the drive to Ontonagon (closest town) for help (while calling our roadside assistance and being on hold for 20 minutes). This was the first place we found and pulled in. They were having their own problems as the pumps were not working (not a lot of options for gas up that way). While the repair shop had just closed, the owner was still at the gas station and re-opened the shop for us. He pulled a 1 inch rock (that looked like a small spike - I saved it as keepsake!) out of our tire and patched it up - all for only $10 (we also make a generous contribution to his beverage fund). We hung around the area a bit more - explored the town, saw the lighthouse and museum to make sure the plug held before heading back through the Park and the 400+ miles home the next day!

Not your typical truck stop,Even though it has all of the products available that you find in a Larger truck stopBut it has the feeling of a small family grocery store

We were recently traveling through the area and our truck entered reduced power mode while towing our 5th wheel. It was a Saturday and we saw employees leaving as we pulled in. It was after hours, but the owner came out and scanned our truck for us. The code was generic, and clearing it took us out of reduced power mode, which would allow us to get back on the road. We purchased a scanner to clear the code ourselves in the event it reoccurred and the owner didn't charge us for the scan itself. All he asked was that we fill up if we needed Diesel. I was so impressed, that we filled up that day and again on our return home. A kind act saved our vacation. and yes, we do plan to repair the issue.

It feels kinda grungy, but it's got flammable liquids that ignite in my engine block. One of the last places to fill up heading to the west and south, so be sure to get your flame on before it's too late.
