If I could give zero stars- I would.It is not safe to leave your money here!If someone gets into your account and moves money and it’s not you- Genisys branch manager Sarah Slusher will “end their relationship with you”After over 22 years of banking with them I have decided to close all my accounts.I’m still stunned at the way they treated us. Don’t go here if you want to keep your money safe or have quick resolution of any issues you may have. This one took 7 days!UPDATE: @GENYSIS, you did NOTHING to secure my accounts.All they truly did was BLAME US , the customer- for a BREACH in THEIR SECURITY! All done with a smug look on the face.PEOPLE —DON’T LEAVE YOUR MONEY HERE!ANOTHER UPDATE!!! 2 months later , IJust had a random conversation with a store clerk, who had the same problem where their account was breached and was treated the exact same way. GENYSIS ARE TOU TRYING TO BE THE WORST CU around?

I love this bank at Lake Orion They are friendly , caring and helpful . Taylor Seibold is awesome and informative I appreciate his professionalism and help .also a thank you to all that have helped me ..Be sure to give them a try , you will not regret it .

I have been a member of this bank since my childhood but today I had rude and racist experience with the bank teller named Virginia I believe. I’m highly considering moving my cash elsewhere.

So far with my time I've been with Genisys Credit union it's been overall okay, I do not have any complaints other than I wish they would get international code like other financial institutions have, also adding Zelle Pay would be a big plus.One last thing would be nice is having more control of your debt card with in one app vs downloading a card app which I might add doesn't appear to work which I ended up deleting off my phone, so hopefully they work on some of these things.

I've been a Genisys cu member since 2002 and what I have noticed is service has gotten a lot better. Tellers are friendly and patient.

Great branch. Excellent customer service and felt like the staff really cared. Also they take savings bonds and it feels like a real interaction vs the larger corporate banks. I love my Genisys credit union

This location is always clean and helpful! This is our main bank location that we use, but they also have notary services. I never have to wait more than 5 minutes to get what I need done, be it a withdrawal, new debit card, notarization services. They're always friendly and helpful! THANKS!!

Awesome place to do your banking, get a mortgage or a car loan. I have had 2 mortgages through Genisys and the process is amazingly easy and fast, they do such a great job. I would recommend Genisys for all of your needs.

Just plain avoid. Let's start at the Auburn Hills branch last fall. Got a MI saves loan, couple issues but overall no big deal. Short time after they call about auto refinance. Runs my credit, alls good then boom ghosted. I e-mail the person multiple times and get one response then nothing. Few months later i get a call from the Orion branch about auto refinance. I fall for it, they run my credit tell me what my terms are. I get a good rate but other than that they lied about everything else. In the beginning they were supper nice then turned into where they had to meet a loan quota. Everything had to be done now. I signed the paperwork. I never received anything in the mail. Never received a payment due date. I Had to log into there website to find out when my payment was due. Im two weeks away from my second payment with still receiving nothing. Theres plenty more to add but this is getting long. I Financed a trailer a couple weeks ago through Catholic Vantage financial. Since the loan has been finalized they have called, e-mailed me, and sent a welcome packet.

I usually have a positive, friendly experience with Genisys Credit Unions in general. Every time I go to this branch, it feels "like a bank". No one is friendly and are just in a "rush" to get to the next person--which would be cool, except they are actually really slow!The most recent visit, tried to refinance my second vehicle with them. I've had three loans through Genisys through the years; very familiar with their processes. When the loan came back, I was informed I have perfect credit, but my APR and monthly payment would go up. I politely declined after wasting 40 minutes of time. I've refinanced in less than 15 minutes in the past.The attendant kept calling me after I left, I guess in attempt to secure the loan. I'm not sure why this wasn't handled during the lengthy visit? I was getting frustrated, especially trying to drive in traffic. I had to tell them no multiple times before eventually having to hang up.Now that my loans are paid, I closed my account. Only really used them for competitive rates and friendly atmosphere but they seem to be falling behind in the last six years.

After having fraud issues at a big bank branch, I had enough, and came to Genisys to look into a checking account. Not only does Genisys have incredible rates, but everyone who helped me was beyond friendly, and I never once felt pressured to sign up for something, or anything like that. Tammie was very professional and attentive to my questions, I will be telling everyone to go see her!
