Customer service is so terrible. They try to avoid you and only talk to each other and if you have a question they act like it’s an inconvenience to answer you.

The majority of the negative reviews at this location name the manager as the reason. Unfortunately, that was my experience today. Kirkland‘s should read the reviews and provide the manager with proper training on customer service and how to treat her fellow employees.

In a world dominated by an online sales culture, brick and mortar stores cannot afford to provide bad customer service. Which was exactly what I experience on 3/8/2025. Whoever the manager was that opened that morning made it clear to everyone in the store how stressed out she was and was insufferable to deal with.
Friendly advice: if you can’t handle the “stress” of a ringing up 5 customers, you’re probably in the wrong line of work.

This store and the 2 ladies, were amazingly helpful! Helped me exchange my 2nd mirror that was broken, I ordered it thru their website. They were the only store in the area to have this mirror. Told about the discounts too. Thank you so much! I always loved this store, now I love it even more!

I’ve been wanting art with the song Silent Night on it by my piano for a long time and finally found something. I saw this several weeks ago and didn’t buy it at the time. I went back to purchase it weeks later and they were sold out. I had to order it and wait for it to come in. I guess next time if I really want something, I should get it.
Kirklands is amazing. The lady at the Orion store knew I was waiting for it to come in. She was at another location in Canton and found one. She brought it back and called me to let me know. That’s amazing customer service!

Cashier with curly blonde tips. I watched and listened to her belittle an elderly woman trying to understand her charges. The cashier so loud everyone in the store could hear every word. I was next in line and by the time I got to the cashier she was shaking her head and scowling. She treated me like I had no common sense. This person makes me definitely not want anything to do with her again. I know stores don’t care and neither do I.

The manager Danete was extremely disappointing to deal with. The lack of customer service and care after it was addressed is concerning for someone in a management position. The fact that this complaint stems from an online order speaks volumes in and of itself. There were two phone calls, both of which had sole contact with Danete herself. The rudeness and lack of tact made me want to cancel the entire $700+ order. Had my wife not loved the items purchased, it would have been.
The cashier Rachel, however, was extremely professional and kind when we came to pick up the order. Rachel demonstrated qualities expected of customer service management. For Rachel, I would give 5 stars.

This location has a serious problem with their checkout time. The line wasn’t long, but it takes them 30 minutes to check out one person. This has happened on multiple occasions.

Love the items but would rather drive to Rochester store, 35 minutes away from my house rather than this store. Danette is a horrible manager and so very rude to her employees and most important her customers. She needs to leave or get fired there and maybe find something where she doesn’t have to work with people cause she obviously doesn’t like working with people. Poor customer service by the Leader there.
