I recently took my 1-year-old son to this lab to get blood drawn, and I couldn’t be more impressed with how smooth the whole process went. I was a little nervous, as it’s not a specialized pediatric center, but I was completely reassured by the staff.
The technician who helped us was incredible. She made my son feel at ease and was so gentle throughout the whole process. Not only did she get the blood on the first try, but she did it without any issues, which was a huge relief for me as a parent!
Overall, the entire experience was professional, calm, and efficient. It’s clear that they have a lot of experience with pediatric patients, even if they aren’t a pediatric specific center. Highly recommend!

Mixed, typically ok, but this past one was different. After waiting 40 minutes, I was called back to hand in my script - I was then told it 'expired' 'yesterday', that scripts are only good for a year. Come to find out lab scripts do NOT expire, and now I have to go back and wait again.....They should not implement a process that doesn't have legal justifications.

We've been to this place 3 times. TERRIBLE!!!
1st time we were ordered some tests for an appt the next day. We took time off of school and work to get there in time to still be able to make my son's game in time. Later we received a call from the Dr that they didn't do all of the ordered tests. We had to go back the next day to have the rest of the work done in time for the appointment. This meant that in addition to the time needed off for the appointment e need to take additional time off for the test which meant and entire day off.
2nd time was to complete the missing tests. Test takers didn't seem like they cared that people were there. Very unprofessional.
3rd time we arrived at 5:23pm and the door which stated hours until 5:30pm was closed. Yes, we were tight to the closing time, but we were there in time. Now we need to drive the 2 hour round trip again.

Wait time was about an hour which is normal. They checked if I was fasting. I was. Phlebotomist was good. The problem is my test results were entered as random not fasting and three tests were missed. Now I have to go back, waste another hour waiting and have my blood drawn again. Their system clearly needs improvement.

If you need timed bloodwork done, make sure you show up an hour early to get your blood drawn on time.

My recent experience was terrible. I went in for a blood draw for myself and my 14 month old. Mine was done, they took hers (after much crying and screaming, naturally). I got in the car and they called me to come back because they forgot to take one of TWO vials? I confirmed both tests at check in. They had both print outs. They literally just pulled the needle out and sent us on our way before double checking they had it all. Then when they poked her other arm, they missed the vein and got nothing. I now have to take my infant child back for a third poke for something that should have been done in one. When it comes to infants that have to be held down, you would think they would double check their work and not poke until they're sure.

They went above and beyond to help me with a situation today. Thank you so much. They turned what could have been a very difficult situation into a very easy, manageable one. I extremely appreciate the accommodations you provided.

We came in with our very medically complex 4 year old that needed labs, and although the wait was long(over an hour). it was well worth the wait, we had a phlebotomist named Martine( im unsure of the spelling), and also another wonderful nurse ( i didnt catch her name) that were amazing with our boy! For the first time in his life he didnt get upset during the pokes. Both phlebotomist’s did an incredible job and we will be back thanks to them!

I've always had a great experience here and the phlebotomists are good. Unfortunately lately the wait times are unreasonable. I feel they are perpetually understaffed or intentionally processing patients slowly. I've been told by the staff about better times to come, usually in the afternoon. Well, that's not reasonable seeing how most draws require you to be fasting. Maybe staff more in the morning? Took my business to another lab.

I’m in my 50’s and have had numerous blood draws. I have NEVER been JABBED like that before!! The site is so sore today with a big red bump. I will not be back, it was a male I think his name was Jim.

I had to go yesterday for a culture, and I see some comments that are just sad, and I guess they must like me because I wait like everyone else and yes, I wish they could take appointments but then someone would be late and put everything behind anyway. I have a favorite or two, but don't tell anyone. I was feeling so down yesterday because of what I am going through and it being so close to Christmas. I just don't have much energy but, I ran into one of those special people who always has a smile and right in the same room is a lady who I imagine she makes everyone feel good. Before I left, I got two wonderful hugs and left with a smile on my face and even felt a little better. I had never had a bad experience here.

Second time my mother has been here and has been treated poorly. The front receptionist told my mother to act anxious and to have lots of anxiety in order for her health advocate, which is her husband to go in the back of the room with her. I was shocked that a health care professional would say that… The ultrasound tech was very uncomfortable, she also told my mother’s advocate (her husband) not to ask questions. How can you treat someone like that who is getting a medical procedure done. Shocked and disappointed by how my wonderfully kind mother was treated. Take a good look in the mirror and treat patients how you would treat your family members. If that’s how you treat your family members then I hope they understand that’s it not their fault it’s yours( ultrasound tech).

Great experience overall! There was a pretty big crowd when I got there, but moved very quickly! I am a huge chicken with blood and needles…between the front desk and Martine who drew my blood, it was as great of an experience as it could possibly be!

I honestly always have a decent experience here. Sure, sometimes the wait is long. There are multiple doctors in this same building, and they re sending their patients down here for lab work all day long. Then there’s tons of other walk ins! Even my absolute longest wait here was an hour. The longest part of that trip was waiting to register. Most of the techs are pretty friendly, a couple are kind of awkward and don’t respond to nothing you say lol.
