They killed my Dog. Kennelled Bear, our awesome Rotti on 11 July 2022 for 11 days. When we picked him up, it took staff 30 minutes to bring him to us. It was obvious they had cleaned him up because he still had faeces on him. My dog collapsed in their lobby, too weak to carry his own weight. A tech had to carry my beautiful Rotti to the car. Once in the car the stench of excrement was nauseating. We rushed Bear to an Emergency Vet. Two days later we put Bear down. The Owner is interested only in making money. This was reported to Oakland County in August of 2022. There have been many other similar events. They kill dogs at Maple Lane. Please notice all the dog pictures and no reviews on their site. They are trying to bury the real news with pictures. They Kill Dogs here. Ask an informed Veterinarian.

We left our very healthy lab puppy here last summer for training for 3 weeks. When I picked her up she seemed sad and had a terrible case of guardia and coccidia. I foolishly took her back again at my better judgement a few weeks later for our out of state vacation. She came home again with intestinal distress and tested positive for guardia again. I did reach out to the kennel after our first visit to let them know she tested positive so they could properly sanitize the kennels. No reply.

they will let your dogs starve and not even blink when they eventually die. Unfortunately this is what they did to the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Charlie. Do NOT take your dog here. There are multiple owner horror stories from the times their dogs have spent there. The owners also own the new place "The Ugly Dog" in Goodrich. DO NOT go to either place.

I think this place needs to be investigated. There is a Facebook page called The TRUTH about Maple Lane Kennels. Look it up. I hope it’s not true. And if it is, shame on you people. Do better.

They will kill your fur babies and not bat an eye. a report from another owner who sent her healthy 8-month old puppy to this facility for training. The puppy was up to date on all of his vet care and was in excellent condition when he arrived at the facility owned by the Sabers. On Saturday, February 4, 2023, Fred Saber called the owner and asked her to pick up her puppy because he wasn’t feeling well. When the owner picked her puppy up, he was skin and bones, despite having been at an appropriate weight when she had dropped him off just a week earlier. The owner sought help from her nextdoor neighbor, a veterinarian, until she could get her puppy to the vet for treatment. Unfortunately, her puppy died right in front of her on her living room floor the following morning, February 5, 2023. It would seem that Fred Saber is not making any attempts to remedy the horrific conditions of his kennel. Dogs are continuing to die. This death is at least partly on Oakland County Animal Control and Oakland County Sheriff’s Department. Both were made aware of Maple Lane Kennels and Charlie’s death. They chose to do nothing. Now another dog is dead.

NEVER EVER EVER leave your pets with these people! When I came to pick up my dog up, he was so sick he could not walk and needed to be carried to the car. He was deeply stained from urine/feces and smelled horridly. I rushed him to the vet. He was so sick that I was advised to put him down. They owners of ML never called me to let me know anything was wrong. They never called my vet or my emergency contact. Just flippantly handed my sweet dog over with barely a thought. My dog DIED within six hours of being picked up. He had had a vet exam a week before I boarded him and he was healthy. When I picked him up he had lost 25% of his body weight and had a temp of 93(normal is 103) Under no circumstances leave your pets here. The owner is rude, uncaring and the place is filthy!

It was pretty bad. There was a lot of chaos, dogs fighting in the back, and the place smelled of pee.

My dog seems to love this place. She's been there about 60 days of the last year and the bird work is great, she's in high spirits, and we have peace of mind knowing these people care and don't just leave her in her kennel all day. We also appreciate all the pictures on Facebook so we can check in on her periodically. Can't wait for the new facility to open!

Excellent! Top to bottom, the staff was fantastic. They handled my poorly socialized COVID puppy with ease. Truly makes a difference when people know what they're doing.

Love Maple Lanes! They take such good care of my Logan and she’s always happy to go there. It’s like you’re dropping off at a family members house. Highly recommend!

Both of our dogs came home after a four day stay with a bad case of kennel cough, even though our dogs are fully vaccinated, Had to pay for fifth day because they give use bad information about pickup time when I dropped them off.
