6/9/25 Employee wearing headphones while working the register, listened to him get rude with a customer, then blame the customer for his own mistake!
I absolutely hate going to this DG after 5PM. Employees look unclean, they have 0 sense of customer service etiquette.

Be cautious when purchasing gift cards from here. I purchased a $50 Amazon card as a Christmas gift on Christmas Eve of 2024. The recipient was unable to use the card. Per Amazon, the reason for them not being able to use the card was due to it being returned and refunded. After speaking with corporate DG I was informed that their investigation showed the card was redeemed. Due to this, they would not refund me any money. I purchased the card for my child. I didn’t redeem the card or return it. It seems sketchy that they are selling cards that are being returned. I’ll save my money and purchase items I need from other stores going forward. I guess I’m just out the money at this point.

Rude and classless. If you want someone to read the 77 signs you have posted around your register, then you should atleast have some decency not to be a sarcastic POS when someone gets cash on the machine that they are conducting business with. If it's not available, program it better or pay attention to the customer, skinny blonde with glasses that looks like she rolled out of the trailer park soaked and mad at the world. Customer service goes a LONG way. This is the first bad review in the great state of Michigan I have had to post. If you're having a bad day, keep it to yourself instead of trying to be miserable to everyone else. Especially since your line is backed up 8 people long with 1 cashier and you standing around chit chatting.

Everytime I have visited this store it is a mess, the staff is unfriendly and appear as if they have just crawled out of bed. I will not be returning to this store ?

This place is always a mess, never have stocked shelf and they always conveniently are closed on Saturdays for stocking!!!

Dollar General is either unwilling or unable to do what's necessary to keep product on the shelves at this location. The store is usually a mess.

For the Last year this store has been pretty much a joke. Either the freezers aren't working or the refrigerators aren't working or the stock is sitting in boxes on carts in the aisles for days at a time. You can't get even the basic necessities most days of the week.
