I mailed a birthday card with cash in it for the first time directly from the Hamilton post office. It only need to go from Hamilton to Otsego. Not sure where it was stolen Hamilton or Otsego but did not make it to its destination. Go figure. Sounds like an inside job.

Edit* Post master called me back this afternoon and addressed the rude clerk from the earlier phone call. He also sorted out the issue with my package extremely quickly. The post master was kind and professional and reassured me that the phone call I experienced earlier was not the norm, or what he expects of his clerks.Wholly incompetent and rude. Avoid any kind of interaction or use of their services. Phone rings 20 times and the staff answers with an attitude, if they do. Cannot handle simple intercept requests or behave in a professional manner. Was hung up on after asking why he was being so rude.

I had an order actively being shipped to my old address by mistake. I called these wonderful people, they were able to track my order and get it rerouted to my new address. Words cannot describe how grateful I am to these postal workers! Small towns matter ❤

The postal workers at this branch have always been very nice and friendly to me and my family. One time, we went in here to send a care package off to my grandma who had cancer and lives in a different state. After Nancy weighed the package (a postal worker who is now at a different branch), instead of placing the shipping label on the box and mailing it out, she put thirty dollars worth of stamps on the package and shaped them into a giant heart! Grandma was overcome with emotion when she received her gift. It's this type of meticulous care that the postal workers here give to the citizens of Otsego and should be given at every branch in the nation! These workers truly have a heart for the people they serve. Thank you postal workers! ?

Received a notice on my door about a piece of mail that needed my signature, we had 4 people at the house awake and a dog that barks if the door knocks and didn’t even hear the knock if she even knocked. Called the post office and when told to pick it up at the post office, and when I did the post office staff was very rude.
