Had a horrible, scary experience at this place! Owner booked a tour with us but when we got there was so rude, treated us like we were not at all welcome. Then proceeded to scream at us telling us she was sick and she had a family crisis and we didn't have sympathy for her. We were left wondering if you are sick and/or have a family crisis why on earth would you agree to give a tour? There was no need for her to take any of that out on us and be so rude. She treated us so terribly and I suppose she thought that was alright because of what she was going through?? Very strange and scary.

Saw this place on an "only in your state" email and thought it would be nice to tour. They have a facebook page so I messaged them regarding setting up a time to take a tour. I was told to come out at 1pm on a Tuesday. When we got there, no one was outside so we went to the house and rang the bell. The woman who answered was not welcoming in the least. She told us she needed to send out an email and would be out when done to give us the tour. So, we walked around, took pics of the alpacas and went to our car to get the money for the tour. About 15 minutes had gone by and we were beginning to wonder when she would come out. When we were in the car, she came out and asked in a rude tone, "you are in your car"? I could think of a million other things to say to your patrons than that! I replied, "yes, are you ready to give us the tour?" She then said that we need to understand that small farms can't always accomadate people when they want. I said to her that we messaged back forth and she agreed on this time, we didn't just show up there, and she did not have to be rude to us. Then she started yelling, said she was sick, then she said her dad was dying. She was yelling this at us and we were just stunned at how terrible and scary she was. So, we got in our car and said we would just leave. She came to the care driver's window yelling more and saying that we could not back out because there was something behind the car (that she put there). I just told her to move it and we hightailed it on out of there! It was SO very strange! She was not only rude from moment we got there, but scary crazy, yelling at us! Who does that?? If she was sick or going through a family crisis, number 1: why do you have to be rude to us? number 2: why on earth would you make an appointment to give a tour??!! To top it all off, she had our phone number so she decided to call and leave a voicemail saying we didn't have sympathy for her and what she was going through. She never mentioned being sick or a family crisis when we were setting up a tour, no way would we drive an hour and impose (we were paying for this tour, of course) on someone in crisis! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AND IT'S CRAZY TOUR GUIDE!

Such a wonderful experience. The owners are super nice and are super informative. They teach you quite a bit while being hands on with the animals. I would definitely recommend and I'll be visiting again.

They have acres of land with adorable alpacas and 4 loving dogs. The store there is perfectly sized and offers a lot of alpaca made goods! Make sure to take a visit out there sometime soon!

A nice little farm to go out and visit, Eclipse Alpacas not only has well cared for alpacas, but also 4 sweet dogs that greet you right when you pull up! The shop is small, but you can purchase anything from mittens to little teddy bears, all made from alpaca yarn. And don't forget to visit the resident trouble-maker alpaca, Mal!
