We adopted a boxer/mix from them a few weeks ago, she has been such a wonderful addition to our family. Everyone is so friendly, the Vet that they recommend is also amazing! We have never rescued an animal before! Would recommend them for sure! As this was such a great experience for our family!

They were very concerned that we adopted the right dog. Our dog came...medical records, advice for bringing new dog home, a free vet visit, all her shots, spay, collar, harness, leash, enough dog food, toys, treats, a throw to cover her.... Prices are great too. She is the 4th dog we adopted and I never had such a stress free adoption. One dog we adopted from another rescue, we spent about another $400-$500 on getting her fixed and shots after the adoption. They also want us to follow up in a couple weeks to make sure everything is going smoothly. I will definitely adopt from them again.

The dogs here seemed happy and well cared-for. We adopted a beagle/basset from them a couple years ago, and he has been the sweetest, best little creature we could have ever imagined. The staff were very responsive and kind, and made the adoption process easy.

Wish I could give this place 0 stars. Went some time ago and I have to say that the older woman we dealt with was either extremely judgemental or racist, these are the only explanations I can come up with for my experience. I went looking to adopt a Husky, German Shepherd, or a Border Collie. The woman I spoke with was extremely unfriendly, ignored everything I had to say and repeatedly tried to show me dogs I stated I was not interested in. I went with my children to see how a potential pup would respond around them and I was directed to an area that only held dogs that showed aggression. Being that I have experience with and training working dogs I wouldn't be too concerned if it was a puppy but these were all adult dogs and every one of their sheets stated that they were not recommended for homes with small children (both of my daughters are small). After walking out of the area these dogs were in a different volunteer asked why I was looking there as none of those dogs were recommended for a house with kids and thankfully pointed me to where I should have gone instead. Unfortunately none of the adult dogs were what we were looking for (I have a large property and regularly go to a friend's farm hence the shepherd/border collie as they'd be put to work in one way shape or form) but I came across a collie shepherd mix puppy they had in the office. When I asked about the puppy the older woman stated that he had not been temper tested (he was still very small so it wouldn't matter anyhow but sure) and that i would have to check back in on Thursday after it was done. I asked if there was anything I needed to do to ensure I was able to get the pup and was told that nothing could be done until the testing was done (he was barely more than 2 months old so nothing discovered during testing would matter so I can't understand why the insistence but sure "policy" or whatever excuse which was not given). I called the office immediately when they opened on Thursday and was told that I couldn't adopt him because he showed food aggression... He's 2 months old and I have experience training working dogs, what's essentially a toddler can be taught to not be aggressive with food so I decided to drive there and I spoke with someone other than the woman I believe was some sort of supervisor/manager there and they tell me the dog was going to be adopted out to another family. Given my experience with dogs, the fact that someone would almost always be home, the amount of property I have, the way I was spoken to, and the fact that I was only shown dogs with aggression I have to assume the woman I dealt with either didn't appreciate the fact that my wife wasn't white or she assumed that because we looked young meant that we were irresponsible and immediately decided we wouldn't be adopting any dog hence why I was only directed towards adult dogs who were clearly aggressive and why I was directed away from the one dog I was interested in and given excuses as to why I couldn't adopt. Overall the experience was horrible and I ended up adopting a German Shepherd that no one wanted at a different rescue because he has an underbite.

Great place to find a forever buddy. I loved how they took the time to help me find the perfect dog to go with my dog. They where able to give me so much info on each dog and explain to me what dog fit for me and what ones didn't. You can tell they really care about finding the perfect home for each of their dogs. If you are looking for a new dog I would say this is the place.
