Very discriminating against people who have mental disabilities, my brother has paranoia schizophrenia and hangs around the store area, which there are absolutely no signs that says NO LOITERING, my brother doesn't bother anyone around there or anyone else, he waits for me outside of the store because of his mental state and safety and he doesn't bother anyone, the owner chased my brother off the property to Subway and followed him over to Subway and continued harassing my brother and telling him he is banned from the property for a year. My brother is not a shoplifter and I always make sure that he has money to get what he needs. Save a lot needs to be permanently closed. Food products are horrible there anyway and after last week, health inspectors have been called for all of your expired meats and vegetables, what a disgrace to our state and economy

The place is absolutely disgusting, it should be closed down like the Stadium Drive store, I went to buy sausages on May 19th and there were several meats that expired in April , April 7th and April 9th, the store manager just laughed about it like it's normal to have expired food, the pot pies had mold on them and the meat over a month expired and discolored

On Saturday 8-10-19 I ran into the Save-a-lot in Parchment to grab a few items to prepare for lunch. Skimming the isles I ended up in the frozen food department in the back of the store.I didn't grab a cart because I only needed a few things & was in a hurry. Well the few items turned into too many for me to carry so I decided to put a few things back one being a bag of frozen french fries. As I was about to go the check out lane a girl from the meat department asked me to open to my purse because she believed that she saw me put an item in my purse something yellow she described & that it looked like my bag was getting larger. I told her I will not open my purse because I have not taken anything from this store & I am quite offended that you would suggest & accuse me of stealing. I immediately asked to speak to the Manager of the store(who was not there) I told the butcher girl to review the cameras because I didn't steal anything. I went to the check out lane & spoke with the Cashier & told her that I needed that butcher girl to come to the front of the store & apologize to me for her accusations. I also told the Cashier that I was no longer interested in purchasing the items that I had laid on the counter. I pulled out my monthly planner & told both ladies that my bag was a work bag containing all my work items along with other things. I told the butcher girl that today was her lucky day because I am an employee of one of the largest attorney firms in Kalamazoo, MI & that I would be pursuing further actions because of her behavior & accusations. If I really want to draw negative attention to this store I could easily do so. Racial profiling, false accusations among other things. I don't think the City of Parchment could afford to have yet another scandal running through their small community after the PFAS water crisis last year. This girl clearly needs education on diversity & since she is not a security officer she needs to be made aware of what she can & cannot ask a shopper who she suspects of shoplifting. As a matter of fact she needs her vision checked & a pair of glasses. Racial profiling is projected everyday in the lives of people everywhere. I will not shop at this Save alot store. And to those who patronized this store be aware of the butcher girl wandering the isles falsely accusing people of stealing. I also plan to make the Chain /Dustrict & Headquarters of Save a lot aware of this store & how they treat their customers.
