The branch itself has been mostly terrific although I always feel like I come in after a bunch of terrible customers. They always seem worn out and over it. However, I have a problem with all of their online banking. My husband and I share an account. We rely heavily on the browser/phone app. His $75 in store purchase and my $10 lunch being purchased at the same time for example. However, lately it's been holding every single purchase for DAYS with either of the cards. The available balance despite showing pending transactions is never correct. I've never had this problem before with any bank/credit union. It's easy to lose track of finances with 2 people spending on 2 different shifts. It has caused several overdrafts as we're not rich. It never used to hold every single purchase for days, and even if it did the actual/available balances would reflect accurately. We will be switching financial institutions.

We have been with this financial institution which was first named educational Community credit Union since 1968 that is 55 years. For us it has been 55 years of really really good service with kind compassionate people who care to help you in your time of need. Different types of loans and banking are experience has been awesome. Yesterday an emergency situation happened where we needed to get a new furnace and the internet was down due to accidentally having their line cut somewhere between Chicago and Kalamazoo. This left no phone service only place that had internet was the 9th Street office and you could not withdraw any more than and we needed much more than that from our account to put down a payment on a new furnace. After talking to Papa the branch manager helped us to download it from our savings to our checking and then we found out that this company did not want personal checks so then we were sent to Kalamazoo to the Oakland drive Center Street location and they talked to the 9th Street location and we're cleared to allow us to withdraw more than the $500 so we could make the payment down in the furnace will be now installed on next Wednesday. We are so appreciative for this this company and how it responds to any of their customers in the need of help thank you so much for being there for us once again you are a great institution and we love our experience with you great job!

I was giving up on banks and credit unions. I had the infamous online banking card. Other banks don't see you as a potential investment. Just as a number they can make a profit off of.Arbor looks at your situation and is up front and honest about any financial transactions you need. It's not just a credit score to them. It's a member that they will strive to make you better and financially focused. I personally recommend this credit union to friends.

I have been a member for years. I went in with a friend to see if Arbor at the Paw Paw location could get him a better interest rate on a car loan from what he was quoted at his credit union. Arbor came in 6% lower than his credit union. When it was time to finalize the loan after he was told he had been approved, they retracted the loan because our employer dosent do direct deposit and he rents from a family member. He has more than enough income and decent credit. I dont feel I can trust this institution any longer and I am checking into switching to Honor Credit Union.

They are all always friendly and courteous, when I have been there. I do agree with the drive through, it is a little slow. It is worth the time to go inside. I always come out with a smile, no matter how broke I am! Lol!

Regret going to this c.u. my first issue was when i was given my savings number as my checking number. Then i had to wait for over 2 weeks for reimbursement for my checks which had my savings acct on them. Every time i go even if no other car is in parking lot im in drive thru for more then 10 min. Its winter i dont get out unless i have too. I will say going inside is very fast. I had to call to ask question. I was zero in line and was still on hold for 8 min. For a 30 sec question. They dont have a round up savings program like most c.u. They also do not have a deposit through atm. Which is really odd, u put the deposit in a drop box. Ive not used it, im assuming u dont get a receipt. Cause im not sure how u could, which i again find odd. my partner and i usually have the same c.u. so its easy to transfer $ between accts. He ask if he should switch when i did. I said to wait and see, after the first week i said no. I will be finding another c.u. Thats better suited for me.
