I do not recommend RMI apprenticeship program.
Trainer “ Mark” was the most condescending, irritable, unprofessional, and most unpleasant trainer I’ve ever had to work with.
Can’t talk with you without degrading comments or shaking his head at you in disappointment.
If you’re struggling he fails to offer support and only ridicules and when you speak up for yourself and explain to him you dont appreciate being talk to in such a way he tells you to get out of the truck and that you’re done. So basically they are allowed to degrade you and talk to you like you don’t matter and are basically stupid and get away with it. At the end of the day, all your aspirations are thrown out the window because of his guy and his intolerance to newbies trying their best but annoying the hell out of him.
Another issue that arose was another apprentice was having a hard time, she requested three times for help and he flat out said nothing else was available. Thankfully she had enough in her to ask the main boss Rob for assistance and she received. We had Rich come over and was a delight to work with! He really helped her and all of us to fine tune our skills. Thanks Rich!!!!!
On a side note:
Marks demeanor changed drastically when another trainer was around then he became his normal condescending self when he was alone with us.
Dude needs to retire. Management needs to do better.
After being asked to leave I called Rob, the manager and he failed to call me back to hear my side of the story!
What a waste of time and energy.
RMI and the people that work here are absolutely horrible

Attending CDL training, one week away from test date. The recruiters are friendly and welcoming. The recruiters set up a ride along so that you know what the job entails. The instructors are super knowledgeable and you know you will be trained well and that they are there to help you succeed to the best of their ability. I believe as long as you take their advice and apply it, you will succeed.

I went in at 1130 they went on break for half an hour. They wanted a different pick up number. I finally got the right pick up number I back in the forklift driver says I'm going on break. This is at 1PM.
