Tractor supply is great. Their pet vet clinic however, I just recently took my cat there to be seen. The assistant helping the doctor had my cat by the throat. The doctor had to explain to him to grab by the scruff, not the throat (who in animal care doesn’t know that?) they also squeezed her leg so tight after taking blood, in all my years of taking cats to get seen, I have never seen them bleed from anything, my cats leg is bleeding. I got my after review from them, where it says they looked at things like, her age, taking her vitals, her being pregnant. They looked at none of these things. We were in there for not even five minutes where they flipped my cat back and forth then put her back in her kennel. They didn’t look at anything.

I stopped today for an exchange of a tractor supply battery that I had bought online. Nicole, the store manager, was extremely helpful. The store didn't have the battery on hand, but she said they would get it transferred from another tractor suppy store. She said she would pick it up next time she is going to Niles for a meeting. Thank you, Nicole!
Tracor supply, you have a manager that makes me want to come back and shop at your store!

My grandma was shopping here and not a single person helped her to her car, mind you she is almost 70 years old and each bag/salt block is 50lbs. Someone could have stopped putting up a display case to help her for 5 minutes. I’m very disappointed in this store. Do better. Help the elders. This store will no longer be getting our service.

Poor customer service. They had line of people at the register and instead of opening a second register they had two people dealing with one customer with a problem. Tractor Supply needs to shut this location down..

The prices in Paw Paw are often ten to twenty percent higher on many items than EVERY OTHER TSC store in the State and the entire country!!!!!! It has been this way for years. Check online for yourself. Pine wood shavings are currently 19% higher. A relative bought a tractor solenoid that was four dollars cheaper everywhere else. If you shop there check your prices online and show them at the register. They will honor the price but never have any explanation as to why Paw Paw is being gouged. The staff are always wonderful. I love the convenience. But there is no good, fair or honest reason for TSC to be gouging the folks around Paw Paw like this!

So I never do this but I’ve talked it over with the husband and we think it’s appropriate to share.
A month ago, May 10th Chris called Tractor Supply in Paw Paw and had them order a pallet of alpaca feed. Approx. 40 bags. (Something we have regularly done in the past). They said okay and that they’d have it by May 20th. May 23rd we get a call saying that they haven’t placed the order because we need to pay for it in advance. Why weren’t we told before? Who knows, but okay. May 24th at 9:03am Chris went in store and paid $1053.62 for the order. They said it would arrive May 27th. Of course May 27th rolls around and still no feed. We were then told June 3rd. June 3rd, guess what? Still no feed. Chris called and spoke to the manager and he “promised” our order would be in June 7th. His words were, “we promise we will have it, it’s on a truck. You can even come pick it up before the store opens.” Mind you, every time we were told our feed for our animals would be in, WE had to call in to check the status and each time we were brushed off and told it wasn’t their fault. June 8th we called and at this point we are going on over a month without feed for our animals! Not a single person in that store had any answer besides the distribution center didn’t have the full 40 bags, they only had 20 so they just didn’t send it. At this point I contacted customer service where they said the District Manager would be in contact with me within a matter of minutes. The Paw Paw store offered us a $100 gift card to go to another location and get 4 bags. Mind you, those bags are roughly $28 per bag… so that didn’t even cover the cost of 4 bags. Plus, WE PAID FOR 40 bags! And why do we have to go out of our way to retrieve a product we ordered from a location that we have been purchasing and ordering from for years?!? Anytime we have tried to get answers, not a single person has any and we still haven’t been contacted by the district manager 48 hours after they said they’d call. So here we are, a month with no feed for our animals and $1000 just floating around somewhere at Tractor Supply. We have since found another local retailer to order us feed, but we cannot believe the incompetence and miscommunication from this company. What are people supposed to do if they can’t feed their livestock?! Not a single issue has been resolved by them and the management over there is a joke. We are patient people and business owners ourselves and to have a company just not care about its customers or stand by their values is atrocious. Again, it took us over a month to complain publicly, but we have given this store multiple times to make it right and nothing has been resolved.
I should note that there is a young fellow there named Jacob who had actually been helpful and understanding as much as he could be. Chris spoke to him a few times and he is the only person who actually seemed to care, so thank you Jacob.
Don’t even get me started on if something happens to my animals after this. Some of them have needed to gain weight desperately and without thier feed they aren’t able to do so.
