Ferrell gas was awful. Did not seem concerned at all that we would run out of heat, but still gave us a delivery date over a week out. I had to hire another provider, and still with over a week, their tank sits in my yard to pick up.

Just had them drop and hook up a 500 lb tank, great price on gas and excellent service. Installer was friendly and did excellent work.

Excellent on site service from the technician. Setting up the appointment is a bit complicated. One cannot contact the local provider, instead one needs to talk to a call center and receive an appointment date days later via text.

Worst gas delivery service company ever. This is not the first time we’ve gotten screwed by Ferrellgas. Only reason we use them is because their tank was here when we bought the house, but this is the last time we’re going to fill it, once we use this gas up, we’re going with a different, smaller, local company. This is our latest experience with Ferrellgas. We requested a fill when we got to 20%. Beginning of winter was pretty mild, so didn’t go through much at first. Well, something happened with the payment, and it didn’t process for some reason, I believe because we had gotten a new card, and the one they had on file was old one that had been cancelled. But, they didn’t let us know that, and we waited 2 weeks, because that’s the window they give you for delivery. After two weeks, and no delivery, I contacted them, they told me the payment hadn’t gone through, but it wasn’t their responsibility to notify us that they weren’t going to deliver. So, I made sure they had the right card info and made sure the payment went through. Delivery rescheduled, had to wait another two weeks. In the meantime, our tank went empty. We went over a week with no heat during the coldest part of the winter. Having to wait two weeks for a delivery, when the closest Ferrellgas distribution center is 5 miles away, and closer than our closest gasoline station or store is absolutely unacceptable. I’m switching to a small, locally owned and operated company that’s two towns away, but offers lower prices and can deliver within 3 days. I have nothing good to say about FG except FU, FG.

Had terrible customer service since Ferrel switch to an 888 phone number and big corporate approach. Most recently, we didn’t realize how low our tank had gotten and ran out of propane in a Michigan winter. Called and was told there was no expedited service options even for an emergency increased fee which we would have happily paid. The soonest they could guarantee delivery was 10 days.So we found a locally owned business who brought a new tank out and a partial fill the same day with much better service. Then I had to call Ferrell twice, be put on hold, get disconnected, call again and ask a bunch of questions just to cancel a fill and get a refund and still was never offered any other options.
