My transmission on my 2012 GMC Sierra started to fail after 211,000 so I checked with a few different shops for quotes. I decided on the Shift Shop because of how helpful Heidi was on the phone in explaining their process. They were also able to get me scheduled sooner and the cost was definitely competitive with the other options. On top of that they provide a 3 yr warranty.
A month later I started having some issues that I thought was related to the transmission so I dropped it off on my way out of town. They called me later to inform me that it wasn’t my transmission but my manifold. They referred me to another shop about 15 min away but since I was out of town wasn’t able to do anythIng until a few days later. They went out of their way to drop my truck off so it could get fixed while out of town and I would have a working truck when I got back in town.
3 months and over 6,000 miles later and the transmission is working as good as new. Highly recommend this locally owned business.

Shift Shop is great!I have a 2016 Ford Focus automatic transmission. Known to be a Ford Motor Company problem with shuddering shift. One Ford dealership would not work on it. Several Transmission shops refused to work on it.Shift Shop brought the manufacturer problem to my attention, sent me to another dealer for possible warranty fix... no way, back to Shift Shop. Shift Shop crew is honest, and truly cares for their customers. They fixed what Ford made wrong!!!Highly recommend them.

Was referred here by another repair shop. They completed the repair within 4 days. The cost was about what was expected. They were good communicators. I would use this place again should the need arise.

Shop did a clutch replacement on my 2000 trans am. Got the car back leaking oil. Took it to another shop, come to find out they did a hack job. Pushed the freeze plug into the motor when they tried replacing the pilot bearing. Looks like they nicked up the crank and tried fitting a grinder in there. For a shop that only does transmissions, a sloppy job like that is unacceptable.
