A lovely place to stay. All staff were incredible. From the front desk to valet to servers at the restaurant to housekeepers, everyone was pleasant, professional and willing to assist. The rooms are beautiful and clean, very cozy with luxurious touches. We are looking forward to our next stay!

So Deb was looking for something unique to do for her birthday and after lots of searching she found out that there is wineries in Michigan! I know right! Looking for a homemade she found this Marriott signature property. We had points so we booked it. They also upgraded us to an amazing lake front suite. It was gorgeous! Large windows overlooking the lake and a balcony. The entire property is nice. Reminds me of the place they vacationed in Dirty Dancing even though I know that was not in Michigan. The staff was amazing and we didn't want for anything. Oh and the cookies are delicious!!

This is the second time I have stayed here. I would recommend it for any couple who would like a weekend getaway. The staff is always gracious and the service is consistent throughout the resort.

The property is wonderful and seems to be very well maintained. The valet and front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was not ready when we arrived and also was not ready at 4:00pm check in time. Our room was a very nice suite with a beautiful view of the lake. We were out sightseeing the entire next day and came back after 3:00pm to find our room had not been serviced by housekeeping. Very disappointing for suite that was over $1,000.00 per night. Management doesn’t seem to have it together.

This is one of my favorite places. The view from your room is stunning. The hotel is immaculate, they also have a laundry room for guests. Julia at the front desk is amazing.

As soon as we entered the lobby, Theresa greeted us with the warmest welcome. She was so professional and kind. The room was beautiful (king suite, lake view). Just a quick drive to Petosky. The grounds are beautiful. Can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I just spent our mini moon here last weekend and it was spectacular. From the moment we stepped on the property we were greeted by the friendliest staff. Theresa at check in was so helpful and let us know all of her recommendations of restaurants and things to check out in the area. The lake view from our room was magical and the room itself was so clean and cozy. We had a slight issue with the hot water, but they fixed it immediately. The next morning we rented a couple of the e-bikes and saw some beautiful views. We came back and we're surprised to some chocolate strawberries and the sweetest note from Theresa at the front desk! I truly have so many good things to say about this place and I already can't wait to come back.

Some confusion with seating as there were empty tables, but was asked to find a bar seat, which there were none available. Don't rely solely on your tablets! Look around once in a while. Food was delicious and wait staff was attentive and genuinely cared about their service.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Inn at Bay Harbor, and I couldn't have asked for a better welcome.Alexandra and Julia, the two front desk ladies, set the tone for a remarkable experience. Their warm hospitality and welcoming demeanor created a fantastic start to our stay.Their attentiveness and willingness to assist made us feel right at home. I truly appreciated their exceptional service and the positive impact they had on our visit.

The location is awesome, near Petoskey and Harbor Springs which are both fun places to visit, Beards Brewery, The Pier restaurant. The room is nice but not worth $1000 bucks a night. We pay this price to stay in an ocean front condo on Grace Bay in the Turks. Comparing that to this, this just isn’t that much value for the money. Everything here is ridiculously expensive and it’s just not justifiable in my opinion. The dinner we had at the Inn restaurant was great but at $250, not a great value. The hotel elevator is rough, glue all over one of the raised panels. We could hear the people in the room next to us. The bathroom is so small, you have to close the entry door to open the shower door. And you have to close the entry door to walk behind it to use the toilet. Again, for this kind of $ it should be more memorable and the details should be taken care of. I would recommend coming to the area and finding reasonable accommodations elsewhere.

I have driven through Petoskey from Traverse City to Mackinac a couple times and have seen this property and wanted to always stay. This time, we were able to stay. We stayed one night only, had 4 rooms reserved (was travelling with my extended family). And I used the marriott points to stay here for all 4 rooms. They upgraded one of my rooms to a suite and was a lake view. (Have to say though, upgrading prior to arrival was impossible, had to call their reservation multiple times, they wouldnt do it. I asked one more time at check in, and they gave one room as an upgrade). That room was outstanding, views were breathtaking. My family said, all other rooms were great as well. Clean hotel, clean rooms and bathrooms, beds very comfortable. Staff was great. Breakfast was included with my points redemption. Kids ate free for breakfast. Breakfast was a buffet style and was great. We didnt have lunch or dinner at property, so cant comment on the Vintage Chophouse (though I glanced at the menu and it seemed pricey, but, people who stay here, probably dont care about prices).Pool was clean, hot tub was little hot. But kids loved both. Lots of other guests were with families and with kids. So hotel is very kid friendly (they gave free ice cream voucher for each kid). The beach was a little rockey, but we still plunged in the lake. One of the best high end Marriotts i have stayed. The Bay Harbor area is very high end with nice cottages around etc. Overall, 5 stars and I hope I will return.

We love it so much we actually bought a double unit here. Being on Lake Michigan for the beautiful sunsets is very special. The people who work here are very helpful and friendly.

The Inn at Bay Harbor is the real deal. It's one of the best hotels I've stayed at, if not the best. The view of the Little Traverse Bay and Lake Michigan is phenomenal. The rooms are outstanding and well-designed, providing a beach/cottage-like ambience with a luxurious feel. I recommend paying the extra money to have a room with a water view. The view is spectacular, especially from the fourth floor. The service is top-notch. The hotel staff quickly changed the my room door's batteries after I couldn't get in with my key. They were highly responsive and apologetic. The gym is large and accomodating. There's a barre room that you can use for extra space if you like to jump rope or you do another activity that requires a lot of space. The Inn at Bay Harbor isn't within convenient walking distance of Petoskey, but it's within a short, convenient drive. It was a real pleasure to stay here. You can spend your entire time at the hotel, never leave, and feel like you've experienced all that Northern Michigan has to offer.

Beautiful location and property. The staff was outstanding and the restaurant was 5 stars. The room on the other hand was a bit disappointing. I’m sure some rooms are better, but ours was very basic and quite a contrast to the rest of the luxurious hotel and property. I spent 30 minutes wiping down the chairs on the deck, which had seen better days. Not a huge deal, but again everything was spotless in the lobby. Then the screen door fell off, adding to the disappointment. The bathroom was straight out of Courtyard complete with a leaky Speakman shower head. Entire room could use some remodeling. On the positive side, the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Not a bad experience, but not a memorable one either.

Attempted to book a night here...the website stated 2 night minimum starts on June 16th. I was looking to book for 1 night on June 15th. Called since the website was not allowing 1 night...the women over the phone acknowledged that the website states the 16th but there was nothing she could do. I was trying to book 4 days prior to arrival and based on their website there was availability and it should have been a 1 night minimum but they would not accommodate. I can't say I would recommend this place based on the customer service I received. I'm sure it's a beautiful place but they need to update their website if incorrect information is posted.
