I’d give zero stars if that was an option. Reserve a vehicle on their app 3 days before vacation. Confirmation number and all. Called the morning of pickup and they said they don’t even have 1 vehicle for us. Horrible. Will reserve with all of their competitors from now on. Zero stars.

When they say 'enterprise picks you up', they fail to disclose that if you're over 10 miles away.... they won't. I'm sure the service will be fine, once I pay for taxi to take me there.

Exceeded our expectations. Staff was friendly and helpful. We opted to pay for insurance and later realized that our auto insurance covered rental cars. We came back to see if they would refund money spent on insurance and they did without questioning.

Cancelled reservation day before my son was to pick up his car although he reserved a week in advance! Such poor customer service!! And very rude so put a complaint to corporate office… would not recommend to anyone!

I was hung up over and over and over again while waiting on hold for over 40 minutes. I could hear someone pick the phone up and put it back down.Purely disrespectful and unprofessional.

There were so many issues I'm not sure I will ever be renting from again. First was getting to the office Monday at 8am along with 3 other customers to find the door locked and wasn't unlocked until almost 10 minutes after 8am. When it was my turn to rent I was offered an upgraded car since I had selected that option online, but was told I would need to wait since the car hadn't been cleaned yet. I didn't have time to wait so I chose the only other option that was made available to me. The Nissan Kick that was supplied had damage to the front end and was noted not from me. I drove the car off the lot and within 10 minutes had a warning light come on. I called the rental office and whoever I spoke to said that this error is common with those cars and to not worry about safety even when I pointed out I was told it had been previously in an accident. She stated she would note in the file again not may fault that this was from a previous driver. I drove all day to my destination 5+ hours on Monday. Tuesday I noticed a weird noise coming from car and didn't feel comfortable driving it. Finally on Wednesday I called enterprise road side assistance since I didn't feel safe to drive the car back that many hours. The agent said a tow truck was dispatched and it would be 90 minutes. 2 hours later I received a text stating the tow was cancelled. I again had to call road side assistance and ask what was going on. They figured it out and had to again request a tow. The 2nd request finally got someone to come get the car. I called the rental office on Thursday only to find out they were never notified I had any difficulty with the car or that I had "turned" the car in. I was lucky enough to deal with an agent that understood that I was extremely frustrated and handled the paperwork from her end. I should have never been rented a car that had clear body damage and a warning light to drive.

Time to update this review: something has clearly changed at our local Enterprise and since 2021, they've improved service significantly. I recommend bypassing the national line and making direct contact with Enterprise Petoskey.

The staff are friendly and super helpful. Limited options sometimes, but still irreplaceable. Greatful they are here.
