I needed quite a few bags of pea gravel and got the best help from Tony and Andrew. They loaded my car with a smile and were very helpful. I think I basically had them put in 1 ton of it in my car and they never complained even though it was extremely hot. I’m going back for more and I’m sure I’ll get the same great service as I did before. Thanks for hiring such great workers. This is rare these days and I really appreciated those two men helping me out tremendously.

Susan Jacobs Harbor Springs, Michigan January 1, 2022 BUYERS BEWARE: The LG Company is providing excellent examples of an ideology that is a far cry from their iconic circle symbolizing the world, future, youth, humanity and technology; this company’s behavior reflects a complete lack of empathy, transparency, charity, honesty and benevolence. They are, in truth, an example of pure capitalism demonstrating a complete disregard of good faith practices specifically pertaining to production standards, consumer-service, responsible distribution, or quality control. LG continued to manufacture and distribute refrigerators with a demonstrated design flaw in their compressors resulting in years of complaints (2017-2021), appliance failures, customer dissatisfaction, a class action lawsuit, and apparently continued failure to support by repair or replacement of deficient appliances. In our case this classic big business disassociation from customers and disregard for industry standards continues to this date. My husband and I are not foolish consumers. LG has established a high Consumer Report index, meaningless as that is. However, we do expect a company to stand behind their products. We purchased our LG refrigerator in 2018 with a one year warranty and an additional purchased five year warranty through Asurion and Home Depot. At this moment, these facts are essentially meaningless. For the last 18 days (during the holiday season and family Christmas), our essential refrigeration has been provided by our ability to store food in our garage. We have also been in constant contact with LG, Home Depot, and Asurion. Do not be fooled, appliance protection does not always pay off, you enter into the “this is not our problem” zone quickly. Anyone considering a new year purchase of an appliance especially in Northern Michigan please acquaint yourself with this situation and the following facts. If you do not have an immense amount of time to deal with incomprehensible and inadequate business practices you will want to protect yourself by avoiding some if not all of these service providers. LG Refrigerator Failure Events Timeline: Consider this if you are working parents, single parent, have small children, elderly, or are a caretaker. It is unacceptable. December 15: Ice Machine is leaking water. 3 pm No reason is found. Ice is emptied and will not refill. December 16: Freezer is found to be thawed, complete loss of contents, bloody mess. Immediate call to Home Depot Appliance protection Asurion 7:46pm. Instructed to unplug refrigerator, restart and call back. 9:06pm called back to report no cooling was generated by the restart. We were told a repair request was generated (more on this later). Reference # 1647836460 December 17: Recalled Asurion to find out when a repair was being scheduled. They reported it would be by December 20, 2021. Reference # 1647842369 claim for food and medicine loss. No further communication on this topic. December 17: FAMILY ARRIVES (12 people to feed for 3 days) December 20: No repair person has called to schedule so we call them again to find out why. December 21: Call to Asurion and told to call LG. Called LG - LG reported that a repair would be scheduled between 12/22-12/24. We did feel this would be highly unlikely - we were now the hot potato. We filed a complaint to the company and were told there was no request for service filed. Peculiar. December 24: Call to Asurion. No one was available to repair and they said they had not found anyone to provide repair service. They said now this is an LG problem. They transferred the call to LG because it was a compressor problem. We asked them how they knew this because no one has been here? They said because of what you are telling us - thus making it an LG problem. December 27: Called Home Depot 3:20 pm talked to Jim and he said he would check into it and he or someone would get back to us. December 29: Louie called from Asurion 5:30 pm. Louie is the resolution specialist handling our account. We had to resend Pro

Went to the Home Depot in Petoskey today. As we were walking to self checkout an assistant store manager tilted his head down towards me as he walked past and had this horrible and terrifying dead stare. Didn't say hi or anything, just that rude scary stare. Not a minute later he yelled at some kid to get off a cart. I work at a Home Depot, and I have never seen an ASM behave in such a strange toxic manner. He was taller, over 6ft and a little balding. Very offputting. Won't be going to Petoskey Home Depot any time soon after that

I absolutely love going to Home Depot. I could spend hours inside of the store looking for things to upgrade my home. While stopping at this location, we were on vacation. We decided that we wanted to go camping. We needed to find some specific items for camping. Once we entered, we were immediately greeted by an employee. They asked if we needed any help finding something. They told us where to go to find the item, and we went on our way. We also decided to buy an axe for some wood, and so we found another team member who directed us to the axes. All of the enployees seemed super helpful, intelligent, and kind. They were knowledgable about the products as well, and helped us decide on the best product to purchase. They were not necessarily trying to only sell us the most expensive brand. The gentleman helping us with the axe actually suggested a much cheaper one for wood cutting.

Outstanding service from Brenda S.! Thank you for helping us find the correct cable. I was lost looking for the electronic item. The HD App said to locate an Associate for help. I found Brenda working in the floor covering department a few aisles over. She cheerfully looked for the part, went looking for help, and found the thing I needed. Fantastic customer service. Thanks Brenda!

I love my local Home Depot. Absolutely everyone there is very friendly, knowledgeable and happy to help you. Of course there are a few stand out employees. We pretty much frequent every department and I can't complain about any of them. Store is clean, dog friendly (always a treat for our dog) and ample parking.
