Old goat at counter John was a complete jerk to me because I wanted to order over the phone. Then he completely screw up my order and one of my 4x6x12s must have been confused with a sponge because I’m not sure it could have had more water in it. What a bummer considering I was willing to pay more than I would have at Home Depot because I wanted to shop local.

I waited over 2 weeks to know if I'm hired or not. They didn't even call me they sent me a email. Waisted my time I could of worked other places but waited for them. I wouldn't recommend anyone to work for them

Great staff, great customer service and great products. If you are not sure of what you need on your next project come here. Advise is superior to that of a “big box†stores. No question asked, or restocking charge, when we returned materials(stored inside) for a project we redesigned to use less wood. I would highly recommend Preston Feather for your next project.

Greatest Lumber yard ever.... I have worked with them for 23 years. Their staff is top notch and they are awesome about correcting any problems. Rob Blair in Harbor Springs store and Don Smith / Petoskey store are two high quality people i have worked with. They have been with Preston Feathers for over 20 years... Highly recommend...
