I’ve been getting my hair styled at Studio B since Covid rolled through northern Michigan. Studio B managed to fix the bowl cut my wife had been rocking me with for 6 months.
I never got around to leaving a rating until today. ‘Matthew Johnson’ decided to leave a whiny 1-star review with no explanation. Well let me fill you in on this zero justification, poor excuse for being butthurt 1 ⭐️
I happened to be there and overheard ‘Matthew Johnson’ come in and ask an employee if they took walk-ins. She told him very politely they did not, at which time ‘Matthew Johnson’ retreated to his safe space and became a 1-star internet troll. Never sat in a chair or asked to make a reservation. Zilch. Nadda.
If you want professionalism and a great group of talented people to cut your hair, I recommend Studio B. I mean, I sport two cowlicks on the front of my head and they keep letting me back in the door so you KNOW they are good. Studio B will have my business till the last hair on my head falls out.

Loved my experience at Studio B with Abbi! Now don't get it twisted, I made my appt 2 months in advance. Plan ahead people - its tourist season in Northern MI! ? The studio is clean and well set up. Abbi did a great job listening to what I wanted done, used excellent products and I love the highlights & cut she did!

It's been years since I've been to a salon for a haircut & styling. Kallyn did a fantastic job. I explained what I was going for, showed her a couple of picture examples, & told her about a problem area where my hair wants to stick up.She understood exactly what I wanted & cut & styled my hair. Brooke, the owner of Studio B, has been cutting my hair for over 15 years and coloring it for almost that long. She is an excellent stylist and colors hair beautifully. I have been amazed at her ability to understand what I’m asking for and then produce exactly that style and color. In all this time I have never had a haircut I was unhappy with.She and the other staff at Studio B are extremely professional and provide a safe and relaxing environment for customers. Studio B is a great combination of friendly atmosphere and professional service. Brooke is extremely dedicated to good service, love, care and support for both clients and staff. She goes to great lengths-to find the right style and make it happen the way you like. And now with Covid 19 requirements, she is extremely careful to follow all regulations, always wear masks and sanitize after each client. Love this salon!

I have never looked better or felt better, than after Brooke and team work their magic!!! They are super professional and true artists. They care so much and the value of their services is what keeps me driving 1 1/2 hours (or more) to get to them! I recommend them to everyone!!! Thank you so much Brooke and team!

Today was such a great day! I got to go to Kallyn for my first manicure and pedicure in about three months! The staff is so caring and professional. The salon is clean and well appointed.. I always love being there.

I cannot say enough about the amazing quality, attention to detail, and professionalism of this salon owner and her staff. They went above and beyond to help me schedule an appointment (I was one of the first people to be understandably cancelled during the shutdown) and they are working tirelessly to be fair and get their clients in as soon as they can. Studio B is a clean and safe environment. They are truly taking every precaution to make their salon a safe place and to provide the best care to their clients. On time appointments, everyone is wearing a mask, and I never had to get closer or even close to 6 ft from another client. Brooke has guided me through my hair care that started with a breaking and damaged mess not even a year ago to growing long and smooth and with beautiful highlights. Her selection of hair color and product recommendations have revived my hair to something I am proud of and not always hiding in a bun or ponytail. I truly cannot say enough positive things about this salon!

Brooke and Lori are wonderful - I have naturally curly hair and they both know exactly how to help me manage it! The salon is comfortable, clean and relaxing - not loud and buzzing with 15 different stylists! I highly recommend Studio B!
