“the ladies here are super nice ? they got a good vibe..and as far as products, I find everything I could need for survival for cheap! food, blankets, dishes, laundry detergent, batteries. They have cool seasonal stuff too especially for kids. And a baby isle with different brands of diapers, baby lotions, wipes. hair accessories, makeup, medicine, the list goes on and on. “I always go out of my way to come to this family dollar. The staff is always very very friendly and helpful. I was extremely touched when the employee, Amanda, offered to help me carry my case of water to the car. I thought she was going to ask the male manager to do it but, she wanted to help me herself. That made my day.
I read a lot of negative reviews about the parking lot, machines, and random people outside of the store. When we go to eat out and our server brings out the food but, it’s not made the way we asked. In that situation, we don’t blame the server because she didn’t make the food. This applies to the negative complaints here. The staff is not in charge of what the parking lot looks like, the machines/apps not working and certainly no control over the people who decide to stand outside the store; a public place. Please have some grace on the staff for things they can’t control.”
“Disappointed! Went tgere to buy celery dor potato salad. Got home started chopping, ate a piece. Tasted awful. Do they ship produce aling with cleaning supplies and detergents? Its soaking up perfumey smells and taste. Had to pick out of the bowl.”
“The store is always well stocked, easy to navigate isles, friendly helpful staff, and only one flaw, the entrance is narrow and at a weird angle, making it hard to use a stroller. Also doors are not handicap accessible.”
“Is this place ever open? Everytime I come, no matter what time of day it is, there's a closed sign on the door. I made 5 trips here in the past 2 weeks and every time it's always closed even early in afternoon. I hate Dollar General and the Family Dollar in the crappier part of the West Side, they're all crack heads over there. I really like this store. It's close to my house, it's clean and the employees are decent. Keep it open please!”
“Ive never personally had a problem with the employees here. From someone whos been in customer service jobs. You can tell they are mostly overworked and underpaid. So i think they do the best they can for what they have to work with most days. Love the new layout”

“My husband and I shop here multiple times a week, since we live close by. It sure beats having to drive to a bigger store and contend with crowds and long lines. They seem to carry everything we need except for fresh meat & produce. Otherwise, we have been buying nearly all of our groceries, paper goods, and cleaning products here for years. Most of the employees are friendly and personable. As for the aisles being crowded with boxes and carts -- I suspect that they are not given time to properly stock shelves as a sole job. The cashier has to run between manning the register and filling shelves. We are extremely happy to have this Dollar General close by.”
