I am currently refunding customers from ebay, because the United States postal service is so good at doing their job. They don't. I have now refunded almost $500 in returns, from products I sold on ebay. With packages, that never got delivered. This is the eighth time, they dropped the ball. The last time, was on a so I took my issue to the postmaster General in downtown Grand rapids. And she threatened to have me arrested for asking her to do her job, and find my package. I knew where it was. It missed its destination by 100 miles. This is absolutely ridiculous. Whoever is running the show up there, is absolutely overpaid. But I hope they have Union protection. Because let's face it.... Thanks to the union.... They don't have to do their job. And they're still going to get paid. They're still going to collect their pension. They're still going to get their 401k. And they're still going to get their retirements. But nowhere in the Union contract does it say..... They have to do their job. Everybody else on the planet is expected to do their they don't have Union representation. And somehow, America still moves. Unless, you're expecting it to move to the post office. This is the only business the federal government is allowed to run. And they do such a great job, they now have four competitors. Yeah, I'm pissed. Yes, I'm airing my grievances. Because, ain't nobody else listening. I'm just tired of having to refund my customers cuz they keep dropping the ball. Their inability to perform the task of picking up at A, and dropping it off at point B, has officially put me out of business. Good job post office. You suck!

Went recently to get some money orders and there was a few people in line ahead of me. It’s the holidays so that’s not unusual. It took about five minutes for my turn at the counter and the clerk was helpful and kind throughout the process. I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews, it was first time at this location and I think it was great service. Y’all need to chill.

This post office is terrible. The staff treats customers as if we should be aware of ALL shipping requirements, know where packaging material within the lobby is, and basically just shouldn't have any questions at all. As if we are the ones who work there every day. They are rude and condescending. I try to get as much information as I can online before I go here, to try and reduce how rude whoever is working at the desk will be. Basically unless you have a pre-printed, pre-paid label and have everything packed up and ready to go it's not going to be an easy time. One time I needed to tape a package shut. I know I've done that at other post offices before and it's never been an issue. The man behind the counter was so rude. I can understand if that's not something they do, or if they aren't able to tape things for customers, but there was absolutely no reason to be rude about it. In that instance I ended up going home, taping the package, and going back later. It's not the first time I've gone home to fix or change something to avoid having to pay more there. Bring your own tape. Bring your own scissors. Bring your own pens. There was one employee who was very pleasant, but I haven't seen her there in a long time. Which is unfortunate since every other employee I've had to interact with seems to be on a mission to make peoples' lives more difficult. Go to a different location if you can. The folks working in the downtown Rockford location are much more pleasant.

Got a final notice to retrieve a package that they couldn't deliver without ever receiving a first notice. The final date for pick up was on Monday, President's Day, and they were closed. So I went first thing the next day, and they told me the package was gone. The clerk pointed to the date on the notice, and when I pointed out they were closed that day, she told me that the date didn't mean anything because the package could've been sent back any day prior to that date. So why put a meaningless date in there to begin with? And now I have to get a hold of the company to see if they'll reship on my dime. I got no apology or even a hint of remorse for the servic I paid for but didn't receive.

Got a renewal for my P.O. Box. Invoice states 59.00 for 6 months 118.00 for 12 months. Due by Jan 31st. Went into pay for 6 month renewal and was told they changed the price to 78.00 for 6 months even though it clearly states the invoice was for 59 and due by the 31st. Would not honor and could not show me updated invoices. Terrible service!! Would rather not even give them 1 star!!

Belmont's a small post office I have a box there ever since they opened it the people working there are real nice and congenial I've had no problems with my mail at all!

Generally easy to use. Holidays can be pretty busy but I have rarely waited more than 30 minutes. Staff has always been helpful and often suggest less expensive shipping options.

So apparently post office has the rights to search your mail if it's not in the right package. I had something sent to me in media mail and since it didn't feel like a book they searched it. Maybe the person who sent it to me was trying to save a couple of dollars. I've never had any problems in past with other offices except this one. The guy was rude and not good at explaining anything
