Hit or miss, seems since the pandemic the working public has lowered standards.. I don't mean people .. just the overall sense that employees can take it or leave it.. That sucks!!

Advanced is my go-to place for anything automotive. My needs may not be terribly complicated by most standards, but the staff is always helpful.They are also an excellent place to drop off UPS shipments.

This place truly exceeds the meaning of customer service and will go above and beyond service and I seen that demonstrated first hand tonight! Will take your money and not care if you get it back apon a return. Just told me that its corporates problem now. BUNCH OF THEIFS. And no your HR even said they stole my money and made a deposit into the store account. Got it on file so yeah. THEY WILL TAKE YOU MONEY PEOPLE!

Shady, bought a compression tester, when I got my final price at checkout I thought it was a bit high but figured I misread the price on the shelf. Nope, get home and look at my receipt and they had tacked on a $5.99 2 year replacement plan without even asking me, I didn't agree to that and wouldn't have if I was asked (I wasn't) Not worth driving a half hour back to get a refund but I won't be coming back here.

While on my way to Grand Rapids I needed to stop for a part on my car. I first stopped into a competitors store and they had my item in stock. I had checked online and saw that it was $15 cheaper at Advance. The gentleman at the counter was really rude when asked if they price matched and treated me very poorly (I am guessing because I am a lowly woman) so I headed down to advance, and I'm SO glad I did! Sam greeted us as we walked in and pointed us in the right direction. Not only was the item $15 cheaper it was also on sale, so an even bigger savings and an incredibly knowledgeable and friendly staff. Such a stark contrast to the service we had just received down the street. Sam was full of pleasant conversation and is exactly the kind of helpful and friendly service one expects from a small town auto store. Definitely recommend stopping in at this Advance Auto for your auto parts needs. And also to say hi to Sam because he's a pretty cool guy

Tell you they can get your part and by a certain time, and have always fallen short.Sometimes I need a part fast because I repair work vehicles. In this case time is money. When you tell me you can get a part by a certain time and day, you need to be able to follow through. For one, I stop looking for the part, for two When the part doesn't come than that vehicle can't be out doing it's job. Loosing money. I have had this done to me more than one time and when I show up get my part, it's not their. Unacceptable.I have learned my lesson, never trust them to get a part on time. Therefore don't use them for anything, ever.I will take my business elsewhere.
