I was at the checkout and the lovely cashier asked how my day was going. I responded with, "Not well, since my sweet old dog is soon going over the rainbow bridge and my husband of 53 years has dementia and is in a nursing home." I was given the warmest comfort hug from this very compassionate woman. My thanks for the extra care and warmth. I won't forget!
