The subs are great, but getting told they won’t take anymore orders when there is still 30 minutes until they close the deli is getting old. Like the 4th time now! Other than that…they have a really good meat selection.

Cork street Harding’s has very unfriendly staff. Just spent 36 min in line for 4 items while their registers were down. No big deal, except the cashier or maybe manager on the lane kept loudly saying “time to lock the doors” “let’s just get out of here” not once did he apologize or inform us on line of the wait or what we could do. He then complained a customer left their cart behind. Honestly I would have too, if I didn’t need the 4 things I stopped in for. He just kept rebooting the register before it even had a chance to fully reboot.

I love Hardings. I’ve shopped there for years. Friendly employees and very convenient. Love the familiar kind faces and treatment. I’m sad to find that suddenly they are playing propaganda recordings over their audio system. What is the purpose of that? I don’t want to feel like we are at the airport playing the irritating “don’t leave your luggage unattended” over and over. It’s very Orwellian. I want to spend my money locally at local companies. Please reconsider this alienating and annoying policy.

Since the mask mandate, we have been pleased to find 100% masked customers and staff at the Plainwell Harding’s. It CAN be done and we appreciate it.

Love the convenience of Harding’s, but the one in Bristol needs to stop having hot case/deli employees take their lunch breaks from 11-12. I’ve personally gone in to get lunch several times and cannot due to the employee being on lunch break. Today, there were 4 others that came in around the same time I did that also couldn’t get lunch. It was 11:20, we were told she wouldn’t be back until noon. You are definitely losing significant business in this area!

Employees are not expendable and are at risk when patrons shop without masks. Requiring employees to be mask police shouldn’t be on the table of discussion either. Having a security guard would be an excellent solution to keep patrons and employees safe. Kalamazoo seems to have more wearers than non wearers, and feeling safe is key. I shopped at the Harding’s on Stadium drive and found myself, a couple other patrons, and all employees to be the only individuals wearing masks. Very disappointed. Won’t be back.

Bangor Hardings leaves a lot to be desired. All lunch meats are cheap quality (the “best” is a $4.99 package of Hormel Naturals meats- Gag!). Very slim grocery options for organic. No deli. They stopped carrying Smart Chicken. They used to stock some shaved deli meat and cheeses repackaged, but have stopped doing that. As a resident local to the store I would really like better products and be able to shop and support within my town. I’m really trying to give Hardings my business, but Bangor Hardings is not keeping up with current shopping needs.

Not thrilled about the closing of the otsego location. That has been part of the community for years. Only place around that has a salad bar, where are you going to place the salad bar at in your plainwell location?? What about those in town who rely on having a local store? The elderly who dont drive or those who cant drive? The locals who go to the deli for lunch? A group of the towns elders that meet there? The condition of the store vs plainwell? I always would go in to h
