They probably shouldn’t make a habit out of locking their doors 45 minutes before they’re suppose to close. I arrived at 9:14 tonight only to find the door locked already. It was a nice summer night, so I decided to walk here (about a mile, so a half hour walk there and back) for nothing. This is really frustrating. By the time I got back to my car it was too late to go to Kroger for what I needed, because they close at 10. As a store employee, you may think that closing down early because it’s slow, or for whatever reason, is no big deal. You don’t take into consideration how it may affect people’s lives. I probably spend $100/week at this rite aid simply out of convenience and proximity to my home. Well, not anymore. This is exactly the type of thing that a struggling business should NOT DO. This is how you lose customers. I will never go back to this store. You would think that a business struggling to keep its doors open would try and avoid these simple mistakes. I would understand if you lost power, or something detrimental happened which would force you to close early. A simple note on the door explaining the circumstances would suffice. I was a head chef for many years, and every time we were really slow, all the servers (and owner actually) would complain because I would not allow us to close early. What if a family drove 30 minutes to dine there? Or drove an hour to get something on our menu that they can’t get anywhere else. They get to the restaurant only to find out that we closed early. That family would never come back. Understandably. This a a HUGE NO-NO in the business world. Hours of operation are listed and adhered to for a reason. My measly little $5 grand a year that I spend at this rite aid may not make or break them, but if you lose enough customers like myself, it CAN be the difference in a store staying open, or closing its doors permanently for lack of revenue. Shame on you Rite-aid. Shame on your business etiquette. Stores like this, with general managers approving early closings, do not deserve to stay open. Whoever you are mister or miss general manager-you need to go back to school and learn how to run a business.
EDIT: After Rite Aid replied and said that this is not standard practice for them and to reach out to their customer service department (which I have not done yet) they did it again! Closed an hour early tonight. Unreal.

I've been coming here for years and my experience this past week was beyond ridiculous and i hope no one has to go through this. The pharmacists are unfriendly and unprofessional. I went to pick up my prescription which was an ointment... they gave me a gel with no applicators and went back to the pharmacist to ask for them and she said my doctor should've known they don't come with and told me to use my FINGERS. Then I had to call the doctor and they sent over another prescription with applicators that I had to pay $30 for ? She could have just given me the applicators for free, and saved me 2 trips, plus both of our time.

This is my neighborhood Rite Aid. It's clean, and the workers are friendly, with someone usually greeting me when I enter the store. I went to a Rite Aid in Ann Arbor, and fewer items were on sale. Some items were 2x more expensive than this location in Plymouth. There are some good gardening supplies and décor that go on clearance, as well as other items such as DVDs and skin care products. The manager here seems to be doing a good job. I'm glad that this is a convenient location for me to pick up packages from the Amazon locker.

Rude pharmacy employees and very unprofessional. They closed the Rite Aid in Canton, MI, so I had to go to this one. I will not be back. I will go to another chain.

This location had great associate service, the store was super clean, the shelves were stocked, it was easy to find what I needed. The associate that checked me out was helpful, pleasant and made checking out a breeze.

We are looking for a new pharmacy and asked our pediatrician to call our prescription into this store so we could give it a try. They called in the prescription 6 days ago, but we had no idea because Rite Aid never called us to say it was ready.I called to make sure they had the prescription and that it was ready since we are now close to running out. The very unfriendly pharmacist said they are out of that medication and won't be getting it anytime soon. Very frustrated because they could have called to let us know instead of just sitting on it for close to a week.I will not be using this pharmacy.

My husband and I went to four different CVS trying to get a passport picture for our toddler. Each place, we were greeted with horrible service , almost an annoyance on taking our kids picture before anything was even done. The second we walked into rite aid, we were greeted with the most friendliest and helpful ladies. We got the pictures done so quickly because another lady jumped in to catch my daughters attention. They assured me if the picture won't work to come right back and they'll take care of me. All the ladies were so helpful and friendly. I know it's painful taking a picture of a toddler but kids feel your negativity and react accordingly. We were in and out and I am switching to rite aid only - not to mention cvs charging $20 for pictures and rite aid only $8.

I see I’m not alone in my displeasure for this pharmacy. Twice in one month the pharmacist was late today it was by a few minutes the last time they were calling around to find a pharmacist so they could open and it was an hour later than they should have been open…. I’ve never heard of anything like this.. they are constantly running out of the big scripts like eliquis.. I asked why they didn’t stock enough for the people they know who are going to need it every single month? They gave me a nonsensical answer which was a different but also a nonsensical answer that they gave the time before that. Really, if we ran our business like this we wouldn’t have one. I was with a private pharmacy and never had a problem before they retired, I was obviously spoiled… they ran it like a business. It’s slim pickings in Plymouth…3 CVS and they’re all bad…
