I had an issue with a pair of glasses I had purchased, and was extremely pleased at the interactions I had with both Daisy the store manager and the staff while resolving the issue. They worked with me professionally and efficiently, and answered all my queries.I fully endorse using this location for all your eyewear needs!

Beware they sell frames that go bad in less than a year, the lenses will come off suddenly. They will not offer any warranty unless you pay for a new frame. They will even ask for a new exam. Terrible customer service.

Very nice and helpful. The staff greeted me as soon as I walked in, they were a little busy but they got me in and out in less than 15 minutes, I was just there to pick up my new glasses which I love.Thanks AB

Ayana was extremely pleasant, patient and helpful when I had went in to get my bow fixed on glasses. She was able to fix my glasses, as well as go over my protection policy I purchased and even went as far to find me another pair to try since I needed a different type of lens. Great customer service! I would most definitely recommend her to assist me again.

Today’s visit to America’s Best for my eye exam was a thoroughly positive experience. Right from the start, I was greeted with a warm welcome by the receptionist, which immediately made me feel at ease. The team handled the preliminaries with efficiency and a friendly demeanor.The highlight of my visit was the eye exam with the doctor. They were not only meticulous in conducting the exam but also took the time to explain each step in a way that was easy to understand. Their patience and detailed approach were truly commendable.I had already decided to purchase my glasses online, and upon sharing this with Ayana, she went above and beyond to assist me. She provided detailed information and guidance on what to look for and consider when making an online purchase. This additional effort to ensure I was well-informed even when buying elsewhere was exceptional and speaks volumes about the customer service at this location.The ambiance of the store and the professionalism of the staff made my visit an outstanding one. I had a few hiccups with my glasses but not the fault of the staff at the Pontiac location. They have all been courteous, professional and very helpful in assisting me to resolve the issues. Would recommend this location to anyone. Thank you all for being so great !!!

Had an appt at 9:10 on Thursday morning. Showed up at 9 to fill out paperwork and do the pre screening tests. Doctor(not originally from the location) shows up at 9:15 and finally calls me back around 9:20-9:25ish. He’s trying to log onto the computer system(since I was told everything is electronic) and its not letting him in. It’s 9:35 at this point and he says he will have to reschedule. Then a tech comes in and says it’ll be ready by 10 am. I say I have errands to run down the street so I can just come back at 10 when its back on and finish up the exam then. Doctor then proceeds to tell me he’s booked at 10 and “can fit me in if someone doesn’t show.” I say I’m already here and my appointment is at 9:10 so why would I have to wait? It’s not me running behind, its the doctors office. He explains again the machine wont work(which I understand already) and that he can fit me in around 10 if someone doesn’t show. I say never mind, i’m just going to reschedule. While I’m out trying to reschedule the tech apologized(inly person who apologized). Somehow the doc figures out how to get the manual part working again so I can get my exam done. I walk in the back and finish my eye exam, walk back outside around 9:40 to pay and get my prescription written down for me as I buy my glasses elsewhere. The lady who goes to check me out realizes there was no prescription written down so she walks to the back where the doctor has already started the exam on the next patient. He tells the lady “give me 10 minutes and I’ll do it.” I’m sitting in the waiting room for another 10-15 minutes playing on my phone. The lady who was helping me answered a phone call and was helping another customer. I grab the tech who I was trying to reschedule with to tell her I have errands to run and I’ll be back to pick up my prescription and pay. The tech then said that the exams normally take 1 hour. Then shes says I have to pay first(which nobody had offered to cash me out). To which I reply “No one has offered to cash me out. I was just told to keep waiting. If someone could cash me out then I’ll be back for my prescription.” The doctor walks out at this point and says he’s doing it right now. I leave and come back 20 minutes later and I still had to wait for the prescription to be printed out.Overall bad experience. No one tried to rectify the situation, and it seemed like they didn’t care about the patients at all.

Called before making an appointment and asked if my insurance was accepted and was told yes so I made an appointment. Upon arrival they asked if I filled out the paperwork online and I said unfortunately I was not able to and the woman seemed irritated and huffed and puffed while gathering physical paperwork ready. Once I gave them my info I was told my insurance was not accepted. I explained when I called to make the appointment I was told that it was and she very rudely cut me off and said “well it’s not and I don’t know who would tell u that so I don’t know what to tell you!” and rolled her eyes!

ABCGNothing really bad to say about this place. I’ve been here for over 15 years. Every year for my contacts. No issues. Managers are good. Everyone is nice.They price match too. Needless to say, even if they treated me bad, I would still come here because they are local to me and prices are always good.Highly recommended

First, I want to start off by saying a Alexandria was so freaking awesome from beginning to end she greeted me she was so amazing. Melinda help me with my glasses. She was freaking amazing also and then when I got my new glasses time, it was just so amazing I just want to thank you ladies so much for your awesome customer service being so kind I would definitely recommend this place for everyone. 10 out of 10 definitely five stars again thank you thank you thank you I was having a bad day and you made it so much better keep being awesome!
