I’m incredibly disappointed and hurt by my recent experience at this AutoZone. My phone was stolen while I was there getting help with my vehicle. I immediately contacted the store manager, hoping for support and access to the security cameras. Unfortunately, the response I received was dismissive and unhelpful.
The manager claimed there were no exterior cameras, but I’ve been to this location many times and knew that wasn’t true. I even went back the same day and took photos of the cameras mounted outside the building. When someone lies in a situation where you’re already stressed and violated, it makes things feel even worse.
To make matters more confusing, the manager texted me two days later to ask if I had any updates — which felt strange and insincere given the lack of real support when I needed it. I came to AutoZone for help, and instead, I left with a stolen phone and no accountability from the staff.
It’s sad and frustrating that what should have been a simple visit for vehicle assistance turned into a situation where I felt unsupported and misled. I expected better.

People take it personally when you try to return broken tools with a lifetime warranty. Then they hassle you every time you return with endless issues.. Most recently overcharged me $72. Endless issues will try not to return to this store.

I ordered a part that never came was charged for and waited a month because they only ordered one of a pair of swaybar links so i was refunded only one side, plus waste of time

Bought a battery and tried to return it 20 minutes later when I found a better price but they wouldn't give me a refund claiming that I drove all the way to my house put the battery in and drained it of all of it's power and then returned it all in the matter of 20 minutes. Terrible store. Very thankful for the store on Perry.

Went back to get a refund because the stretch belt didn't fit and the threading got cut, it was a continental belt, the guy refused to give me a refund and he told me I could only replace it and that they only carry continental and that is a "top brand". I didn't have my paper receipt but I had my online order with order number and transaction id the guy at the counter tells me he freaking needs more information, what else do you need my freaking Social security number!? I walked out pissed went to ADVANCE AUTO PARTS and got myself a dayco stretch belt and it fit no problems. I'm never doing business with AutoZone again and if you drive a Mazda 3 2010 stay away from continental belts they say they fit on the website but they don't and you will be robbed by AutoZone.
This is not the first time I order parts that say they "fit" but they don't, never had a problem with ADVANCE AUTO PARTS.

They've got the tools I need but the prices are a bit high and as I ride an ebike I always have a backpack on which seems to make the workers stare at me which I understand but still don't like

Went in for wipers and a light bulb. They added some windshield cleaner and bulb grease to my order, snuck them in my bag, and charged me for them without ever saying a word about it to me. I returned all items out of principal, and will shop elsewhere from now on.

Are the staff trained to just ring up the add on items without asking the customer?
I bought a battery and the guy scanned the non corrosive protection and terminal pads, opened the package, applied it to my battery and said it the battery comes with it.
On the same day, I bought wipers. A different associate tried to just scan glass cleaner without asking. I wavied him off and said I didn't need it.
