Lakeside Motor Lodge is a nice, clean place to stay with wonderful, friendly, and sympathetic staff. The location is in the middle of town, offering great convenience and very short walks to the beach, the harbor, restaurants, and small shops. Amenities include a wonderful heated pool and hot tub, a great fire pit for nighttime, and cabins available. Many guests describe it as a great vacation spot and the best in the area, praising the very clean rooms and great service. The pool is perfect and a highlight. Some minor complaints note that bathrooms are very small, the bed was really uncomfortable in one room, and you cannot see the lake from your room. One guest experienced a short wait at check-in and a disappointing, unclean coffee maker. While not a 5-star motel and not the cheapest in the area, for many it was a perfect rescue that saved their trip, creating wonderful memories. Guests are advised to be careful of deer on the roads.
This is a no frills motel. The rooms are basic but decent. The location is great, walkable area. We were here for one night but others seem to stay longer and looked like they were having a ball. Friendly staff.

I love this place me and my family go here every year, we enjoy the family atmosphere the food at the restaurants is very delicious and you can walk to the beach in less than 2 minutes, great place

We are staying here right now and the rooms are set up a little weird. The sink is outside of the bathroom area And the pool is not heated like they say it is but everything else is great. Clean rooms and nice staff.
