Nothing like being hounded to remove my spotless 250 dollar boots because they got moist from walking in Michigan weather, what I’m thinking is the staff is too lazy to clean the building the right way so they try to avoid it by making sure everyone that walks in has to take their shoes off like they’re walking in their own home, I’ve walked in very fine establishments that are worth millions and didn’t get pestered about damp shoes/boots, we’re talking about a bowling alley right? A hole in the wall at most, then when I ask for my shoes since their 5 dollar extremely used and worn out bowling shoes are acceptable to wear in there, the very kind gentleman wanted to hold them and have me walk around in socks like I’m in my own home until the lane opens up, I already paid so I made sure my game took 10-15 minutes and kept it pushing out of the building, I will never return to a poorly ran and poorly maintained building like this place, thanks for ruining my date night vibes that I was having, your place is junk and will always be, can’t wait to see it sell off and become a dispensary or something more worth looking at

They hounded my fiancé and I the minute we walked in to take off our shoes. We had to walk around the bowling alley with just socks on. It felt dirty. I’ve never been to a bowling alley that forced you to take off your shoes at the door. Then we tried to get our shoes and the worker was trying to make us wait until the lane opened up. He tried to make us walk around in our socks. The place just felt so dirty. We will not be coming back,

New owners should have never purchased this business. Either they have never operated a bowling alley/bar/restaurant, or they are trying to make it fail to put some of there business in there. League bowling is a huge thing on Port Huron and they miss the mark every week.Let's start with the service. Horrible! Was at our league tonight. Was never encountered by a sever. Had to go to the bar to grab our drinks each time. Maybe they should not have run the seasoned staff off. They kept all the bowlers happy, every week.Next the condition of the alleys are beyond frustrating. Sure, they never were the best in the area, but they were still functional every night we bowled. Now ever other ball gets stuck by the pin setter. The oil on the lanes is either super heavy or non existent. Just overall not enjoyable to bowl on.Let's talk about the food. Sure when they first took over and added some menu Items, like pizza, it was great. Food still tasted decent. Now multiple people have said they get super sick after eating their food. Last time I ate there I ordered a pizza and the pizza was still uncooked dough, with disgursing cheese and toppings. Guessing they made the good cooks walk out too. Oh and make sure you stay away from the Shwarma, heard that comes from gas station somewhere down in Metro Detroit. YUMNormally on league nights, lanes are setup with lane assignments etc. Not anymore. The owner doesn't even know what time our leagues starts anymore. Staff do not know how to turn the lanes on and argue you with you that they are.All in all, this will be our last year on amy league offered at Bowl-O-Drome. Unless they can get someone in there that knows how to successfully run a bowling alley. Ask Port Huron Lanes how it is done or anything. With PH Lanes closing down in the coming years, we will need another bowling establishment in PHz because Bowl-O-Drome will not make it much longer.

So I guess people who just want to practice, college/high school students or regular bowlers don't matter to thises lanes. Rock n Bowl lights ever open bowling, really? First it's not 2000 and second not everyone wants disco lights when they are trying to practice. Once a week maybe but every day? Forces people to go to Port Huron Lanes. New owners need to get a clue.

If you own your own equipment, leave it at home.My girlfriend (who doesn’t bowl) found an alley and I happened to have my stuff with me. We had a great time. The prices on games are great, the food for our party of 9 was great. The staff was great too. What was not great is how chipped the only ball I used for our two games came back. I took care to make sure nobody else threw it to damage it in any way, and it ended up looking like this from the ball return system. While it’s just a little irritating that this ball I’ve had for just half a year now looks like someone sand blasted it or shot it several times with an air soft gun, i would still come here and just use the house balls. I only realized what damage was done since driving the 5 hours back, so I don’t know if they would honor the repair cost to fix it.

Bowled a tournament here, if you are a serious bowler bowling for scores, stay away. Half of the lanes are tilted. Yes, seriously tilted. The lanes are not flat. Also the approaches for the lanes are as well, you walk up an incline for some, and downhill for others. Terrible experience. If bowling for fun with family, you will probably be fine. Staff seemed nice. And the bowling alley looks new and has some neat features.
