Feeling beyond disappointed with Pennzoil. My son—who's a new driver—went in for a routine oil change and walked out $132 poorer. No explanation of different oil prices, no clarity—just a straight-up took advantage situation. When confronted, the manager, John, claimed they always explain pricing. Well, they sure didn’t this time. It’s outrageous to see a young driver taken advantage of like this. Transparency and honesty should come standard. Beware of this Rip Off!!

So first off I went to this location for years. I took every car I've owned here and I never had problems for a while until I took my 200 here and they said high mileage full synthetic 0w20 was $120 for just the 5 quart oil change. My oil changes prior with other cars were always $80 or under before that. I went to advance auto parts and get a 5 quart jug same penzoil oil and the most expensive filter for my car because it was the only one in stock and it's only like $50. Also asked elsewhere and a different place offered to do it for $80 I should have known they were ripping me off when the price skyrocketed. That's what I get for being a woman though, right? Anyways they also mutilated my pan bolt and didn't say a word about it I went to change the oil myself and we had to vice grip it our because it was 100% stripped no socket would turn it. There was some sort of blue stuff all around it how they rigged it up in there. I included the picture.
