The YMCA of the Blue Water Area is a welcoming and inclusive community with a long history of changing lives. It is a unique environment where kids learn and grow, acting as a neighborhood resource for a healthy and rewarding life. The facility is clean and offers fantastic views in a great location, with many programs available, including basketball, volleyball, the Current walk, and water exercise. Staff are amazing, helpful, nice, and social, making members feel safe and treated like family. The YMCA becomes a home away from home where people connect and make friends. Members appreciate the very nice facility, noting it is impressive for a small town, with really reasonable family membership rates and the availability of a low-income program. It is worth every penny and worth the membership. The facility is always clean and allows for workouts at any hours. A note is made that there is a lot of foot traffic and a need for more wheelchair accessible help with parking and access to other areas. Only fully trained service dogs are allowed.
