I just left the branch on milham road today after requesting a new Debit card since I had lost my wallet. Upon asking the desk associate (who was the problem with this review) for a new debit card, she asked to see my ID, which is a totally reasonable request. I then informed her that due to my wallet being lost I only had a temporary drivers license while I wait for the new one. Immediately; she said that she “couldn’t” get me a debit card without a photo ID. Then she complained audibly to her co-worker right next to her that she doesn’t do that anymore because someone had falsely acquired a debit card. Her coworker then said that she could verify my identity through answering questions. To which she refused and told her co-worker that they could handle because she was not. This was interesting since she had just told me she “couldn’t” as if she didn’t have the ability. But it turned out she was just outright refusing to help me under the assume that I was a criminal…she was literally IN FRONT OF MY FACE as she damn near accused me of being a criminal. It wasn’t until her coworker then informed her that my ID is probably on file because you know… I BANK THERE… that she could just look up my ID and look at my face. I have never been as insulted at a place of business in my life. The only reason this is a 2 star review and not a 1 star review is because after she saw my picture ID on record she asked me to verify personally info and I got my debit card. I understand that precautions need to be made to protect against identity theft and that my situation isn’t “normal” but the fact that she was so rude, talked about me as if I wasn’t directly in front of front of her, and insinuated that I was a criminal is down right unacceptable. I will never be returning to that branch and will GLADLY go across town to the other branches to do my banking.

I have been going thereto pay my rent for three years for the last six months I have had nothing but a bad experience, they say I need your id to pay my rent, they say I didn't tell them what I was doing( that's a lie) then they say can't do it without the whole account number (that's a lie) there rude cause they aren't listening to me, by time I'm done I'm so angry I will never go back again. They make paying my rent the worse experience ever.

I have to say differently. When walking in to ask about starting a small business account, One of the tellers was more than accommodating to try to arrange something for me in the same day. Another woman came up that was close by and asked me if I had all the information that I needed in order to start the account. As I explained that I had, she then looked at me sourly and said " well, we're just short staffed". Very unprofessional Very rude for no reason and very much will not receive any of my business.

Advia is the worst credit union to ever exist. I started with them over 10 years ago when my credit was bad. I tried to enroll in their programs to save money and build my credit score and was denied because my credit was bad!!! Fast forward some years later credit score was above 800 and they called and emailed me constantly about programs they have. Credit unions are supposed to work with people. This place operates as a stereotypical bank that doesn’t work with the community. They are trash!!!

Edited on 8/27: came back to this ATM and this time the machine took my card, but was unable to process my "transaction could not be completed at this time". Changed my rating from 2 stars to 1 and will be reconsidering other credit unions that are offer more reliable and consistent service.ATMs always have problems. Staff is friendly and provide quick service, but I don't want to wait 15 minutes in line to withdraw or deposit $20.

One time I owed visa 2k and when they demanded it all up front, I offered 1k, they denied it and shut my account down, then got an attorney to settle for 3k behind the scenes. I banked with them for 8 years before that. These people are ungrateful and have zero compassion. Beware

They Hold the Magic Wand! Ashley was able to get my Nissan Re-financed just after 7 months from Credit acceptance! She brought my Interest rate From 23% down to 9%!! Mind you they pulled my credit at only 600! My monthly payment went from $627 down to $455! and I had 62 months left and she re-financed me at 63 months! This way my term wasn't even extended! They went the extra MILE for me and made it happen! I know it wasn't Easy but she sure did make it look easy and Painless for me! This meant a lot for me! Now I plan on working with Advia to help keep my credit growing strong and to do future business with Finally taking a mortgage for a house in the near future!I Would Recommend this branch to anyone!! PS. Ashley just got promoted to Branch Manager and is moving To a nearby Advia! Congrats!

No longer the small town credit union it used to be. This branch is friendly but I put a large check in from the company that they use for their employee's retirement funds and they still put it on a 2 week hold. Wasnt even that much money. I've also been in line with only about 2 other people being helped and I watched the clock while I waited for over 30 minutes. Really??. Also, the night drop NEVER has any envelopes so you have to come prepared with your own.

So the workers are very nice. My complaint is I can't pay my car loan any other way but in person. I don't have a loan book or statements to send payments in. Or info to use to set up payments from my bank account. They gave me a routing and account number. But that leaves too much room for error. Multiple people have complained they put the money into the savings account instead of toward the loan. It may work better for someone that uses this as their primary account.

I wanted to give a huge shout out to Jake Dumont and Noelle Barnrus at the Portage location for helping me get my account opened up yesterday. Jake went out his way to help me see someone even though I didn't have an appointment scheduled. Noelle was very helpful with any questions I had and offered many great tips and told me all about what Advia had to offer im happy to be with Advia and banking with people that are so nice and helpful
