I have taken a number of family vehicles here and won’t take them anywhere else. Always friendly, helpful, and does excellent work! Most importantly… I know when I refer people here they won’t get raked over the coals. Very ethical business.

Terrible customer service! Dropped by first thing to get my brakes checked. He promised me it would get seen at some point in the day. I called 10 minutes to close and they still didn’t see it and promised they would look at it first thing the next day. (I would have went somewhere else if I would know it wouldn’t have atleast been looked at)The next day roles around and I call them 2 hours after opening, and they said “they haven’t looked at that and who would have told you that.” Then told me to come pick up the truck because I “abused their employees” their employees because I questioned why they would tell me one thing and then not do it.Services: General repairs & maintenance

I thought my car has been a nightmare. The real nightmare was crossroads auto service. They fixed my sway bar links in 2020 and they just had to be redone after my car has overheated 4-5 times majorly due to things they messed up or didn't tighten down. They over tightened my thermostat housing once and cracked that. Since they were honest and fixed their mistakes for free I gave them another chance last year to do my catalytic converter. They used the wrong one and told me it's because it needs a stock part. Muffler man said that isn't true, and fixed what crossroads said they couldn't find Monday, which was sway bar links and control arm assembly . Crossroads auto also told me using the converter they did that it wouldn't cause issues with drivability. Muffler man said that is also untrue! Last fall my coolant tank needed to be replaced and they didn't tighten down a clamp which caused another overheating episode! Then the valve cover was done 1/10/2023 and they just had redo that for free and it came back with the same clunk it went in with that I asked them to find, and tried to charge me another $50-100 to find the issue I brought up when they had the car this last Monday. I am a disabled veteran with a need for my car to get me to the VA in Battle Creek. Muffler man advised I get rid of this car now. Also $1,900 I don't have to fix the catalytic converter right so it'll stop choking my engine out! I am furious and don't even know what I am supposed to do for transportation! I have a Chevy Sonic with a turbo manifold that isnt supposed to overheat at all! All sorts of smaller issues have come up from this. They ruined my car! Guess I learned a lesson didn't I!?!?!

They take forever and constantly lie about when your car is gonna be done. Will never be back, that’s for sure.

Quick and convenient.I was able to drop my car off for an unscheduled oil change at 8:30am and it was done an hour later. This location is great for me since I work across the street. It's a nice walk over. I've used them for a variety of things for 5+ years and never had anything but great service.Services: General repairs & maintenance

I would give them all the stars if possible. My husband was working in Kalamazoo which is an hour away from where we live. His car wouldn't start at lunch. Since we are an hour away we didn't want to tow it all that way to have our normal mechanic look at it. I called a few places but none of them offered both towing and service and all were booked out 2 weeks. Crossroads did both and could look at the car the next day. The Tow truck came at 2:30 and it was fixed by the next day( new starter). A major inconvenience turned minor with their great customer service and fair pricing.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Rip-Off! My daughter had a check engine light come on while she was at college, she took it to this shop to get a diagnosis and was presented with an estimate for $400; after paying $50 for the diagnosis. This seemed strange to me that $400 is the price to get an evap canister purge valve replaced.I had her bring the truck home and I purchased the part, $62 at the local O'Reilly's, and had it installed in less than 45 minutes, on the cold ground, with no lift, and taking time to lubricate the spare tire cable mechanism. This shop is a blatant rip-off and borderline predatory when they see a young female who just wants her truck fixed. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!To be fair, I understand there are labor guides and I do not have one, however, several google searches say the labor for this job is between $50 and $75, which is roughly .5 to .75 hours; maybe slightly more as shops vary. The online result seems reasonable after having just done the job myself. Also assuming the shop marks up the part, which is also common, the part should be around $100. This is a far cry from the $400 total they are trying to charge an 18yo college student.I called the shop twice to discuss the estimate and see if there was a potential misunderstanding, both times the call was not returned. The person that answers the phone says "they are very busy and will have to call you back."If 0 or negative stars was an option I would have gone that route. You might be ok if you are not an 18 yo female college student but to be honest why would anyone support a place with practices like this.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Paid upwards of $500 just to have nothing repaired and for the problem to persist. Would absolutely not recommend to anyone for repairs of any kind.

Crossroads was able to schedule me in quickly which is not easy to find these days. Prices were reasonable and communication about what was wrong with my vehicle was given quickly. Would use them again.

If I could give zero stars I would. My master drive shaft went out and they told me it was cosmetic and wheel barings. They fixed the wheel barings and I Went to another shop afterwards when they told me it was the drive shaft and was far from cosmetic. I returned my car there for a check engine light and starter issues I asked them to do a full diagnostic which I paid for for them to tell me that they don’t look at everything in the vehicle just the starter because that’s what’s causing the car to not start. Then I had to take it back to another shop to find out why my check engine light was on. Unless you wanna just waste money and keep your car in the shop I suggest you stay far away from this place.

These guys do a great job of telling you what you SHOULD get done, but they don't phrase it like you need to get it done now or your car will explode like Dogecoin stock in the baby weeks of 2021. Reliable services, quality place for an oil change too. 5/5

Absolutely horrible!! This place is full of liars and crooks; especially James the owner. Their towing is a rip off and don't count on them telling you the actual day your vehicle will be done. They kept my vehicle an extra day which caused me to pay an extra $146 for a rental car and they wouldn't even discount the repair cost. AND I just gave them $1,200 and my vehicle isn't even fixed. Do NOT take your vehicle to be "repaired" by these greedy crooks!!!!
