I signed up for dethatching back in May, but the service was delayed for several months. When they finally came, the work caused significant damage to my lawn—large areas of grass were completely torn up. The crew that came out was polite and did return to reseed the damaged areas, but unfortunately, the lawn still looks uneven and patchy.
I had hoped the dethatching would improve my lawn, but it ended up in worse shape than before. Very disappointed with the overall experience and communication.

Earth works did a great job resolving a couple of issues for me. They fixed a sinkhole that was developing and re-graded a yard area for me. The gentleman that came to do the work, Renard ( sorry if I misspelled this) did a great job. He went above and beyond the scope of work and even fixed a few small areas that were not covered in the original quote. Overall I was very impressed with their work.

Decent mowing company, my lawn always looks good. Only thing I don't like is there is no way to pay online, have to drop off a check. Only bill I've got paying the old school way. Other than that the staff is nice and they do a good job.

Terrible decision to work with these people. I would avoid the “services” they offer! Worst landscape company in the area. Do yourself a favor and skip this business for any commercial or personal landscaping needs.

I am blessed to have my day off be Friday this week, of course you can find me @ Crane Park, Kalamazoo MI. I have loved this beautiful park for a little over a year now. This spring and early summer it has been especially well maintained. Today I found out, a crew from Earth Works keeps my favorite parks beautiful. Great job, guys!!

I rate this 2 stars purely from an employee perspective. They charge you a cleaning fee for your uniforms every week.....even if you opt to clean your own uniforms, they will still charge you for the service you don't want or need. In addition, they also charge every employee for Direct Deposit. This should be the responsibility of the employer, not the employee. Earth Works also charges employee's even more fees for the safety vest, the safety glasses and the head/ear protection. Every week, it is deducted automatically from the paycheck. So, you are suppose to be making $16/hr. But are you really, after all these fees? What kind of company charges thier employees like this? For these reasons, I rate them at 2 stars. I quit after only 1 hour. I'll be damned if I am going to pay an employer to work for them.

This is the second time we have used Earth-Works for lawn mowing. They do a fantastic job. The mowers are very thorough and respectful of our property. We can always count on them to go above and beyond.

I'm very happy with their lawn care services! I have not ever had to call and ask to get our yard serviced this season. Earth-Works is on it every week as we are at the entrance to a very busy airport and it has to be kept maintained for high traffic appearance purposes. Unlike 2 previous companies where I was always calling them to mow and very poor service this company is top notch! AAA+ service and highly recommend them!

Earth works has taken care of our mowing all summer. We have a large yard with lots of trees to mow around as well as other obstacles. They trim when needed and are VERY REASONABLE.

I am extremely pleased with the look of my back yard. Earth Works came and leveled out my uneven backyard and installed a system so water would drain away from my shed into the yard. Then they lined my shed and a paver walkway that they installed with rocks. The workers showed up timely every day and they didn’t need me to be home at all. They worked hard and got it all done within a week. And I am very pleased they always kept everything clean and tidied up as much as they could with the dust and dirt and I would highly recommend this company!!!Services: Landscape installations
