Don and Brenda are the best, I got a 2001 Subaru Outback and it runs amazingly well, has low mileage and got it for a low price. Thank you Don and Brenda!

Bought a 2018 Outback with 96k. First, the brakes needed changing, the coolant reservoir was empty, and it’s got an oil leak. Then at 102k the CVT went out. They buy their cars at auction so it’s a toss up on if you get a good one or not. I got a bad one lol. Also when we picked up the car it was filthy inside and had no gas. Learn from my mistakes and go somewhere else.

Don and Brenda Gentry are absolute gems! Save yourself a lot of headaches and uncertainty if you are in the market for a used vehicle. I recently totaled my 2015 Subaru Forester and was not having any luck in my area finding a reputable dealer that I could source the same year make and model from. I contacted Don and Brenda about a 2015 Forester that they had listed that was described to be in excellent condition like my vehicle had been. I was contacted right away and was instantly at ease talking with Don (and later his wife Brenda). They are no pressure and extremely honest people. I felt it was worth the hour and a half drive to see the vehicle based on his very transparent description over the phone. I was very pleased when I arrived and the vehicle was exactly as described and very fairly priced. Don and Brenda price their cars fair so you dont have the stress of trying to haggle. I had done my research and this vehicle was by far the best value of the 9 vehicles I had looked at. No hidden fees either. Don and Brenda held the car for two days while I contacted my bank to work out financing, were very accommodating, and made the experience quick, fun and easy! They certainly went above and beyond and earned my trust! Thank you both for treating us so well! We will recommend you to everyone we know (and hopefully get even more people into Subaru's!) three weeks later and this Subaru is treating me very well!

The owner, Brenda, is so helpful, sweet, and honest. She made the process so smooth and seamless. I’m officially a customer for life! 10/10 recommend going through her to buy a used vehicle at a fair price.

Avoid them at all cost !!The people seem nice but don’t fall into their trap. I bought an used car from them they have provided carfax and everything and it ran fantastic in test drive and a week after I got the car it all started falling down noise coming out of engine and transmission issue and I found out that they had scarp yard engine in the car and they had different size bolts that attaches to the engine and chassis. I took it the Local mechanic after excessive noise coming from engine and then they had told me that I was lucky to recognise it sooner otherwise engine might have broken out from transmission I had to put couple thousands into it because they refused to pay for my repair because I had given them a bad review..They even told me I am getting a 7 seater instead they had provided me 5 seater and when I had mentioned it to them they said “well we thought it’s 7seater and still got a better deal” and they even suggested me to sell it in an auction and I can get better price. If I had intention to sell a car why would I buy one ??!!There are plenty of other dealerships around that might look rude but at least they won’t cheat with engine swap.

I have never financed a car before, I had pretty much close to no knowledge on what I was supposed to be doing. But today Brenda walked me through all of the steps and had incredible patience with me. She put in so much effort for me to get the best deal for me personally, not just through her and the loans but also through the car insurance I was getting as well. I was handled with care and kindness, more so than I had hoped for. I ended up leaving with a perfect car and the best plan possible, something I'm so grateful to Gentry for. I highly recommend if you're getting a car to go here.

I bought my 1st Subaru Outback from Gentry Auto Sales and I LOVE my car! Don and Brenda are straight shooters who will do right by you when you are looking for a car. They are willing to go above and beyond to make sure you know what you are getting and to make sure you are comfortable through the whole experience. If I ever need to get another car it will probably be a Subaru. They will be my first stop and likely my only stop. Thank you! You have really made a difference for me. ?

Don and Brenda made buying a used car a stress free experience. I didn't feel like I was "being sold" a car, but more like informed and educated to help me make my decision. They are genuine and down to earth and I'm happy to have met them. I couldn't be happier with my Subaru.

I'm a salesman by trade, and I really appreciate another salesman who does right by their customers. Gentry auto sales is fantastic! They helped me find the right car, they got me a roof rack for it, and they had open communication throughout the entire process. They even sent me a thank you card. If you've made big purchases before and you want to make a good decision on your next vehicle purchase I recommend Gentry Auto Sales from the bottom of my heart.

$14,000 for one year and 3 months. Now a total loss car. Please have your OWN mechanic look at a car before you buy. I bought a 2006 Subaru Forester from here with ~120,000 miles. For $7500 dollars, I knew I was spending above market price but thought it would be worth it since they had replaced the head gasket, timing belt, and put new tires and brakes on. Little did I know I would be putting in another $7000 in the next year of me owning this vehicle. First bad experience I blew off because it wasn’t that big of a deal. I had to use their dealer plate to wait to get mine. Then when I did get mine, it wasn’t the type of plate I wanted and didn’t have the rec pass (whatever that’s ~$20) I had been driving the forester for about a month and was very happy with it. I checked my oil and realized it was low (already?) so went and filled it up. On my way home, my engine started smoking and I could smell oil burning. I get home, pop the hood, and there is oil all over the engine block! What the hell? So I bring it into the mechanic and get a call from him. “Did you store this car in a swamp?” He asks me. The rust on the car is so bad that he actually stuck a TOOTHPICK through the stem that holds the dipstick. $1000 in the first month…. I thought this car was thoroughly inspected yet it can’t even hold oil? Big red flag for me and now I own this swampy rust car. Then in the next year, all this happened - $1000 replaced oil pressure switch, VVT solenoid, and oil pan - $1200 Replaced all calipers, disk pads and rotors because the wheels locked up - $1500 Replaced rear wheel bearings and disk brakes plus rusted bushing, rusted bolts, and new seals - $500 Car didn’t start, new battery and starter plus $70 for towing - $900 New A/C compressor and belt ( not necessary but for comfort) - $1900 new struts (tires where wearing bad) and ball joint needed replacing (it had no seal and was full of water) - Backed into a storm drain and bent right rear trailing arm and frame of the car (was going ~5 mph....). Mechanic says he can’t replace the arm because once he takes it off, nothing will go back on because of the rust. Called my insurance and its now claimed as a TOTAL LOSS So I put $7000 into this car and it left me stranded once. Now I’m stranded again without a car and CANT AFFORD ANOTHER CAR. I could have bought a 2013-2015 forester but instead I can’t afford to buy another car because of this rust bucket I was sold. DUE DILIGENCE! Do it. Don’t end up broke like me from a shifty used car salesman that didn’t even leave his seat to show me the car.
