There's always something to find that you may, or may not need. Took my mom shopping there today, and she found a brand new winter coat for my sister for $3.50. You can't beat that. She also bought her a nice pair of almost new slip-on shoes for about $10.

I have been going to this goodwill my WHOLE life. The past few years I have only stopped in maybe twice. The prices at this specific goodwill are insane. Like often more expensive than antique stores or curated vintage shops. That is the main reason I have stopped going here. I understand that the money goes towards their programs, but at the end of the day, you do not pay enough in labor to justify the amount of money you charge for the (FREE) items you are donated. May I again emphasize the FREE part. I recall this location always being open at least until 8pm but they now close at 6pm. If you are genuinely thrift shopping to save money, please check out the tjmaxx around the corner to find new, unused items at a similar cost. For vintage/antiques check out any other thrift stores in the area! There are many better places to spend that don’t have a CEO making bank on people’s charity.

This store is filthy, and prices are ridiculously high. They recently had a vintage chair that was BROKEN priced at $72.50. A beat up globe for $40, etc, etc. It is disorganized and dirty.

Medium sized store with plenty of clothes and other offerings at reasonable prices.

I was a little disappointed that they won't accept furniture donations anymore. We just had some chairs to try to drop off that we're in excellent quality and they wouldn't take it anymore. Said they were out of room.

I went shopping for jeans today, and the service was just awful. The younger lady with glasses and red hair was super rude, making us wait while she texted on her phone. she was also obviously annoyed at us asking to use the dressing room. It was so unprofessional.

The new girl I believe her name starts with an E? She is super nice and friendly she's the only one who ever welcomes me when I come in. The store has looked more organized in the last few weeks.

Don’t bother wasting your time attempting to drop off donations here. The donation attendants here are outrageously rude and don’t listen to you. Instead they’ll make you stand there and wait as they sort through your donations and then vocally out loud complain about how many cars keep lining up to drop off donations. Clearly they must receive too many and therefore you’re inconveniencing them. So I would suggest taking your donations elsewhere. Perhaps somewhere where you, the person giving several donations (for free mind you), won’t be literally (as in… yes, this did really happen) yelled at for sitting down a heavy bin full of items on ground like you set off a explosive device. Relax, it’s just donations… not a bomb.

I went in the store today, I can’t go to sleep without leaving a review . The store seem very greedy with the prices when items are donated free . Not to mention a while ago I heard the pay was minimum wage for their employers. None of it sits right , it all feels very greedy and poorly operated.

The people that work there, especially this one lady are the rudest Workers ever, I will never go back to that store again. And this is not the first time it's happened. Lady comes out screaming on the top of her lungs Over a sticker removed from a box. That was removed by a co worker. She didn't even ask nicely she just started screaming.

Last Thursday I was approached by a homeless woman at Meijers who was soaking wet. She was so cold she was shivering. She asked me if I could buy her a shirt, I told her yes and we went to find a shirt but the shirts were not warm and the coats were not out yet. I couldn't help her get warm and dry with only a shirt any way so i took her to the Portage Goodwill. We went in and started looking for a coat, jacket, shirt, pants bra and warm pajamas. I was suddenly approached by 2 employees one who turned out to be a manager. I thought they were going to ask us to leave but instead they gave me some coupons for clothing. It was so kind and unexpected. We shopped for a long time and i was able to get the woman good warm clothes. When I got to the checkout I had to talk to the manager about the coupons. I asked him why he approached me when we walked in and he said. "I saw you come in with her, we don't see things like this very often but I recognized what was going on". His awareness and intuition were remarkable. I started to cry because the whole situation was heart wrenching and beautiful at the same time. He gave me a paper towel to dry my tears and he thanked me so many times.I'm so impressed with the discretion and caring both of the managers used in this situation. I'm certain the homeless lady never realized what was going on and i really appreciated that and the way they treated her and I. It was truly a day i will always remember.
