Our experience with Anden (designer) and Nancy (our sales guide) was excellent. Nancy initially guided us on our journey adding input that aligned with our thoughts on updating our space. As we continued she suggested we consider setting an appt. at home with Anden, as she could greatly help us bring everything together in OUR space. Working with Anden was a joy. She listened to what we were trying to accomplish and hit the mark with her designs. Thanks for all your help in updating our space!!

I would give 0 stars if I could. We ordered our custom furniture before Christmas and it still hasn't arrived. We received a delivery date in March so I took a day off of work to wait for the delivery and I got a phone call 2 hours after the delivery window to tell me that the furniture (both pieces) had been damaged and wouldn't be delivered. I asked where the furniture was and she said it was still in the distribution center in Chicago. I asked why didn't I get notified of this before I took the day off of work and she said the warehouse was bad at communicating & only sent an email to the manager who was on vacation. They wanted to order parts to repair the furniture & I said no that I wanted the custom furniture to be the custom furniture brand new that's what I paid for and they told me it would be another 6 to 8 weeks, I said Okay and I want to be compensated for my time and inconvenience, they said they could only waive the delivery fee of $199 and then they went up to $300. They have had over $5,000 of my money since December 2023, it's March 2023 I still don't have my furniture and we aren't any closer to a ship date. Then they told my husband they wouldn't do the custom order that we had no choice but to take the repaired furniture. Sorry, but I didn't order refurbished or repaired furniture. I paid for new furniture & I want new furniture. La-Z-Boy sucks, don't waste your time or money. Our sales person was nice, but when this problem came up she wouldn't talk to us.

Very pleased with the selection and knowledgeable sales team of their products. Was able to find what we were looking for and at a competitive price. Unfortunately LzyBoy needs big improvements to function properly.

Ann was an amazing professional who gave us a great price on a beautiful couch! We were treated to her kind approach and amazing eye for detail throughout the entire process and left incredibly satisfied! Definitely a must stop for a new couch in the Kalamazoo / Portage area!

After a day of furniture shopping we’re sure glad it ended at La-Z-Boy. Their team member Michael was the perfect amount of “sales” we needed. He was extremely knowledgeable, very helpful, and all around pleasure to work with. He helped us find exactly what we wanted in the price range we hoped for. Cant wait for our new pieces to arrive!

Our current sofa and chairs are too big for our living room. The chair my wife uses is hurting her back. We sought a love seat versus a full size couch and a reclining rocker or glider rocker.Michael S. initially helped us with models, and brought in Anden M. for designer aid. Both were great to work with!! From the start, it was obvious they wanted us to truly obtain the best fitting pieces, which resulted in us trying many variations and going back and forth as the selection narrowed. Dimensions and digital images were provided to Anden, who then laid out the room configuration, with new furniture, for our review. It was then obvious to us we needed one more piece.Back in the store we reviewed all again, selected a swivel rocker recliner as our final piece and confirmed all fabrics. Michael noticed we had parked in a Veterans slot (I am a disabled veteran and I thank you for having those spots). That I was eligible for another discount due to veterans status was both surprising and very welcome.Shopping for furniture can be overwhelming with the wrong sales people and their approach. Both Michael and Anden showed us alternatives, explained differences, resolved questions we had...and then LEFT US ALONE rather than clinging to is or hovering over us. As a retired salesperson and consultant I appreciate good sales technique when I encounter it. La-Z-Boy should be justifiably proud of these two employees. We will certainly relay our experiences to anyone we know seeking quality furniture, fair prices and outstanding service. Thanks to all.

Our sales associate Michael was very knowledgeable of the products, super helpful, and made sure we were happy with the sofa and loveseat we ordered. He showed us material samples and answered all of our questions. We are so excited to get our forever furniture in leather and in the color we wanted, with all of the power reclining features we could ask for. I highly recommend Michael and the Lazy Boy store in Portage.

We found what we liked. The furniture was delivered, but unfortunately we never heard any updates from our sales person. We called three times and stopped in the store physically. We were promised updates from multiple people when the furniture when be delivered. We still had to call only to find out that it was in the warehouse ready to be delivered.
