Love the new team here at Muffler Man in Portage! I swung in to book an oil change for a different day and they actually squeezed me in that minute between appointments.
Really reasonable prices with no pushy upcharge, friendly and efficient service, and they even went out of their way to try and complete a minor fix that I had jimmied myself.
I’ll be seein you guys again, thanks for the great service

Many shops have really raised the cost of an oil change, but true to their word, Muffler Man will give you a quick, efficient oil change for only $30.00. I walked in one day and they changed my oil without an appointment.

I gave my muffler to repair. They refused to do it as I have bypassed the catalytic convertor and said the car needs to be in junk yard. They were honest and let me take my car back.

Absolutely useless. We knew what was wrong with the exhaust when we dropped our truck off. A donut gasket. Chris called to tell me that his tech said there is a corner missing from a mating flange and that they would not be able to tighten the exhaust back together after replacing the gasket. I asked them to replace the flange which I have had done on the same model truck at another muffler man. He insisted that he would have to put a $500 Y pipe on the truck to fix it and would not cut the pipe to change the flange citing poor workmanship and he can’t warranty that. I then told him since they don’t want to do that I will have someone pick it up because I am not installing a $500 pipe on a $500 truck.(jokingly) we hung up and he called back within 2 minutes to offer me $500 for my truck. When we picked up the truck and got it back to the shop to double check if we missed a broken flange before we sent it to muffler man we discovered that there is no broken flange and no missing corner as he stated. The flange is triangular and all three corners and studs were intact so I called him back. He told me that I am correct that they are 3 sided and hung up on me. Again,absolutely useless. We knew what was wrong with it before we dropped it off and they tried to rip us off for $500.

Came in to get some help and a second opinion on my 02 sensor bung. They were able to fit my new O2 sensor free of charge and explained the process. Really nice and fair people, could not recommend more.

Ken is very honest and has even comped me for repairs once when we were having issues with my battery. I appreciate the transparency regarding repairs. He is always willing to show me the parts/issues and break down what’s actually in need of repair. I’ve also gotten great pricing and quick turn around for repairs compared to other shops. I have planned trips back home from out of state to have my car serviced here.

I love this place!
I had a rusted flange in my exhaust pipe, which made my car very loud and noisy. I brought it here to get it fixed, and Kenny took care of the problem flawlessly at a very reasonable price. He's a down-to-earth gentleman, and I’ll definitely be bringing my car back for any future work.
After Kenny got the car fixed, it’s now quiet and smooth—feels like a brand new car! If you’re considering coming here, don’t hesitate!

Worst experience of my life I would never recommend this place to even my worst enemy for any repairs paid for dual exhaust got a patched together single in muffler with a y pipe added on to the end sounds horrible looks horrible do not use them if you want a quality job done
